The themes throughout July focus on well-being, stability and mental grounding. A month of supreme cosmic power is ready to begin as Cancer season allows us to be especially nurturing, leading the way back to the heart centre. Throughout July, the ‘turn over’ is encouraging us to walk with compassion, as we are noticeably faced with retrograde hurdles and transit challenges. The retrograde energy of Neptune, Jupiter, Chiron and Pluto follows us, turning our motivations inward as we revisit old wounds and then attempt to purge them. This month therefore is cosmically significant for each one of us, because it poses plenty of abstract questions that make us ‘re-live’. From now, until the end of the year, we are not without a single retrograde free day. This can shock our nervous system into rest and internal reflection, perhaps bringing up shadow work that we’re just not ready for. Things get moving from the 1st, when Mars opposes Saturn attempting to trip us over if we press too hard. Chiron is in a supportive aspect here, and uses the fiery influence of Aries to space out anger. Roadblocks are apparent, and they continue on the 7th when Saturn and Venus oppose, showing up via emotional frustrations. On the same day, Mercury is freed from it’s post-shadow cycle. We can once again sign contracts freely, buy appliances and move houses. Beware however, as early on in the month, there can be a harshness to relationships, collaborations or finances.
On the 9th/10th, a New Moon in Cancer merges with the Sun in Cancer, and makes a sublime trine to Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces, compacting the heavy water influence! Feelings are on the rise and we feel a burning sense of compassion, sentimentality and nostalgia to everyone and everything. A New Moon means opportunity, doors opening and beginnings, but the cosmos can’t do all the work for us. It’s up to us to use the sacred energy and cultivate it to create a ‘safe zone’. Venus and Mars, the eternal lovers, are in Leo for most of the month, embracing one another and infusing a much needed dose of romance into our existing relationships. Mercury enters Cancer the next day, after its long foray in Gemini. On the 14th, there is an attractive Venus conjunct Mars influence happening which gives way to creativity. We can be convincing now - and ‘bullshit’ talk can get us very far indeed. From the 15th, Chiron stations retrograde in its rulership of Aries, this transit can only really be described with a great quote from Carl Jung - ‘Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens”. We affirm our position in it all around the 17th, when a powerful Sun + Pluto opposition tries to integrate who we are versus who we wish to be. The Sun in Cancer is gentle, but it can be misleading. Pluto in Capricorn is systematic, powerful, almighty - and it seeks clear eyes to focus on the power of truthful identity. Ego can compromise our sense of self, and this transit certainly dissolves and strips away our own ‘ideas’ of who we are. This makes the mid-month of July, particularly intense - there is no definitive answer yet - and this can feel disturbing.
Venus enters practical Virgo on the 21st and makes love more serious. The undertone can be critical, stubborn and yet so reliable and patient. I guess that is the earthy balance a mutable sign brings to the picture. The unique factor to this energy is that it makes us a whole lot more dedicated to the person or situation at hand. When romance is practical and pragmatic, we can roll up our sleeves and focus on more important things. On the 22nd, the Sun enters Leo and the drama is turned high! Not that we notice or care, in fact, many of us thrive when we can express ourselves in an outlandish or confident way. Leo encourages both, as well as radiating warmth and generosity! A Full Moon in Aquarius takes place next, helping us bridge creativity, inspiration and futuristic vision to career/business. A conjunction to Pluto and a close connection to Saturn means that we feel especially profound, merging with the psychedelic transcendence of Aquarius. We can be upfront with how we feel, yet we don’t want to discourage or exclude people. Aquarius thrives in community, so the more people you can have on your side, in your team, the better for you and for them. Finally, on the 28th, Jupiter enters back into Aquarius after a short hiatus in Pisces, and continues its retrograde for another few months. Themes from January/February come back, and you are enticed by unfinished projects, people or past times. Continue to evolve and engage, we don’t have time to get stuck where ego feels most comfortable. It’s a boring place to be - and the next 5 months of the year are anything but.

ARIES
You inspire others with your tenacity, Aries. This month for you, the focus will remain around staying conscious of the outside world, as it tends to mirror what’s going on in your inner world. A New Moon in Cancer (10th) merges with the Sun in your 4th house until the 22nd of the month, opening up strong emotions tied to family, home, belongings and ancestors. You are in a period of recharge for the first ten days, and what captures your attention will almost always be related to a sibling, a partner, a father or close friend. With Uranus so close to this lunation it’s easy to imagine that you may also be faced with some sort of surprise announcement. You are keen to uphold some sort of traditional thinking, but it’s 2021, maybe it’s time to heed the advice before you - and permit yourself to do the unconventional. Venus and Mars are in sister-sign Leo for most of the month, transiting through your romantic and playful 5th house. I feel it’s taken you a long while to get comfortable with someone or perhaps, something - like a new idea or experience in your life. This 5th house cycle will attract you further to something obscure, and deepen bonds with people who also have strong fire in their chart.
You’ve simmered down with the aggressive, ‘all consuming’ approach, and throughout 2021 have attempted to engage with love quite differently. It may be a mind-set thing, but I suspect it also involves how you deal with the physical aspects; sex, intimacy and lustful desire. This will open doors for you, but you may not see them manifest until 2022. This is due to the heavy retrograde energy circling all around you. Chiron, the wounded healer who deals with our consciousness and past life experience, can feel isolating at times. Especially mid-month, when the planet turns retrograde in your sign and triggers separateness. We may look for answers inside at this time yet they never come. This is because when Chiron stations retrograde the mood gets a little blurry - we don’t know if we’re coming or going. Chiron triggers the psychological - the ongoing work spans our lifetime. So, give yourself a break and a pat on the back. It’s not all bleak. On the 22nd, Venus joins your 6th house of business, health and pleasure. You find this especially healing and helpful as it turns you away from all the introspection and back into the outside world. You will have energy at your disposal as the workload increases. It’s a good time to channel creative energy into something more constructive, as business partners/colleagues tend to really get on your nerves and frustrate you now. Leo Season begins on the 22nd, and you immediately feel more in touch. A Full Moon in Aquarius occurs on the 24th in your social 11th house, and involving other like-minded people comes easy. Community bonds are key - and set the scene for a new friend to enter the story. Mars and Venus get together on the 30th, illuminating and animating your expressive nature.
Dates to look out for; 2nd, 12th, 15th, 22nd, 28th.
TAURUS
Coming face to face with something you fear, is actually very freeing, Taurus. July heightens a significant period of business, advancement, career management and legal matters. Although personal circumstances may have felt like a burden lately, this month has a very specific ‘turn around’ that can thrust you into a magical transformation. The 7th/8th are important dates to circle as Venus opposes Saturn and makes a tense square to Uranus (in your sign). This uncomfortable transit loves to push and prod - and it can feel like you’re not ‘catching a break’. However, with the entirety of what is truly going on may make you realise that controlling, confining and restricting those around you (as you have been) only binds you to that type of situation. Uranus manifests what it sees and hears, so in order to break free from emotional patterns that no longer serve us - you must drop the ego and validation/gratification and move on with your life. A New Moon in Cancer merges with the Sun and bodes well for your earthy sign, highlighting the 3rd house of communication, curiosity and solutions from the 10th. You are feeling rather intellectual as a result of having learned something new, or perhaps, reading/listening more. Connections with wise ‘old souls’ have been formed over the last 3 months, and with Uranus so close to this lunation, it can feel as if you’re navigating your way through a new portal. Money issues may come up in close relationships and you’re encouraged to check the facts if something doesn’t feel quite right.
Venus in Leo sits in your 4th house of family, home and environment until the 21st. Here you feel one of two things - either exceptionally supported or harshly denied. Something you desire is just not correlating with your current life path. This can be for a number of reasons but it will entice you to wear your heart on your sleeve, and get your message out more than usual. Use your familiarity with people to liaise better and ultimately get what you want. It’s about talking smart early in the month, so that in the latter part you can just sit back and watch others as you command. A Full Moon in Aquarius on the 24th acts like the gestation period for something much, much larger. Occurring in your ambitious 10th house you deal with issues such as status, reputation, authority and ‘father figures’. It indicates that your public image is up for review, but then again with 5 planets in retrograde motion going on behind the scenes, could you be surprised? Focus on refining your exterior image, work on earning some sort of respect in your chosen field. Above all, let that carry you this month, if and when the going gets tough in other areas of your life. Build trust at home and with friends, so that you have strong foundations to rely on. Cultivate peace, but real peace - inner peace. When lucky Jupiter enters quirky Aquarius (again) to retrograde from the 28th, you are reminded that the most important cup to fill is your own.
Dates to look out for; 1st, 7th, 10th, 12th, 22nd, 24th, 29th.
GEMINI
A long standing situation can be resolved this month, Gemini. The best approach for you to take is one of directness, transparency - although at times for you, this can prove hardest to do! The first hoop to jump through can appear around the 7th/8th when Venus in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius, pushing you outside of your comfort zone to rewire the stage you’ve been placed upon. It may not be very fitting for your current situation, but it can bring complexities throughout the day. A New Moon in Cancers ties in nicely with the Sun on the 10th, backed by Uranus, this lunation can feel extremely cathartic. The Pluto opposition has a surreal, magic connotation to it - as if anything really can occur. It can and it will, should the universe and timing be on your side. Appearing in your 2nd house of income and cash flow, you are influenced by your materialistic wants and needs. The focus is well and truly on property, belongings, assets - as well as the salary you make and the lifestyle you lead. Is everything sustainable? What gives your power away and what reclaims it? Is it a wider contact base, a smarter contract or just the inevitable ‘more cash’ required scenario. The first two weeks of the month focus most on your spending habits - be careful of risking something safe for something momentary.
Venus dances with Mars in fiery Leo until the 21st, merging with your intellectual 3rd house, indicating you’ve got a very curious approach to people and situations. You may refine your style of ‘banter’ to fit more into some type of mould, in this way, attracting a potential partner or friend. In fact, you can be so much more conniving than usual - looking for the best way to get the most out of the situation. Who can blame you? With all this retrograde energy pouring into our lives, we need to maximise the good in some small way. Until the 12th, Mercury sits back in your 1st house of image and personality. Confirming that these past few months have been solely about increasing your popularity, reputation and audience. You will be receptive and frequently chatting with friends, lovers and family in this early period. On the 22nd, Venus enters Virgo and your 4th house of family, dedicating the end of the month toward home, belonging and your personal environment. Relationships only work if you do, and if you’ve been slipping on this lately, it becomes quite apparent now. It is a wonderful time to lean on people, and to accept them for who they are. Comparison is the thief of joy - remember that in this process. On the 22nd, Leo takes over Cancer season and brings more heat and passion into your life. You’ll be thankful for the change in *cosmic* season, as you begin to wade in water for a moment. A few days later, the Full Moon in Aquarius shines a light on your 9th house of adventure, travel and creative growth. Use this period of free time to enjoy the lighter side of life.
Dates to look out for; 1st, 5th, 7th, 10th, 15th, 25th.
CANCER
You are poetic at the best of times, Cancer. Your presence throughout July is dynamic, exciting and enchanting - it is your month, your time to shine. Recently, as of two or three weeks ago the tide changed and started to work its way in your favour. Everything you do from now until late October will be large, as you achieve the credibility you deserve. This month is harmonious, even with the challenging transits and awkward retrograde energy following. Your commitments to other people don’t appear to be as important for now, as your own sovereign commitment to yourself takes first place. It’s no surprise, for far too long you’ve looked to others for the ‘go ahead’, but since then, you’ve grown. The month begins to shape up around the 3rd, when Mars squares Uranus, making you feel like everyone is working against you. This transit is full of tension, as you clash with patterns that are familiar and therefore all the more annoying. On the 10th, a New Moon in your sign feels rather personal. It merges with the Sun while it trines Neptune in Pisces and sextile Uranus. There is a HEAVY water theme going on, so it can feel very surreal and magical. As if everything is in its own place, at the right time. You are birthing a version of you that has been privy to some divine guidance, and it’s time to call out anyone who doesn’t respect you.
Mercury enters your sign on the 11th, helping you voice your perceptions. In Cancer, this chatty planet can feel private and introspective. Your emotions piece together with much more ease, and anyone that comes across you, senses that you are more ‘you’ than usual. Like, all of your nuances and little habits are more pronounced. Chiron stations retrograde around the 15th, in its rulership of Aries. Reminding you to take it slow, and to re-imagine what long term goals look like after the years 2020/2021. Your capacity to endure the hard yards has been heroic, but now through career and relationships, you must carve out that personal individualism that sets you apart from others, and well onto your own path. Venus then enters Virgo from the 21st, adoring the more pragmatic approach in love and lust. You can be practical with your feelings, even if a week ago, you thought you could die over someone. Venus in Virgo will enter your 3rd house of communication, and be harmonious with Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn, so anything to do with career can now be valuable. Give yourself permission to offer up nothing but positivity, and see how it may be returned to you. The Sun will leave your sign on the 22nd to begin its month-long journey in Leo. Finally, a Full Moon in Aquarius shows up the 8th house of mystery, intimacy and partnership - bracing you to be brave! Jupiter will re-enter Aquarius on the 28th, engaging a big part of your ‘projector’ mentality. It will hit your house of intimacy, returning you back to a past lover or friend. Don’t forget that even though helping people may feel good, you need to schedule time in for yourself, to be by yourself.
Dates to look out for; 2nd, 10th, 11th, 15th, 22nd, 24th, 28th.
LEO
Happy Birthday to the ferocious Lion, who celebrates in late July. We love your for your intensity, unwavering dedication, dramatic flair and joyous spirit. The month begins to take shape early on, as Venus in Leo opposes Saturn in your opposite sign, Aquarius from the 7th/8th. This transit can develop unnerving feelings in love, bringing up jaded, old memories that make you feel as though you’re hard to love. In fact, this cannot be further from the truth but your conditioning from previous memories and experiences is reinforcing some type of ‘lacking’. At times, this feeling can be overwhelming, following you around from relationship to relationship. But, July is a cosmic turn around by all means, and this month helps you navigate how to love yourself again. Mars (in your sign) and Chiron are here to serve you, and there will be healing and gratification that comes your way in these first two weeks of the month, even if it feels like a challenge to get there. A New Moon in Cancer occurs on the 10th in your spiritual 12th house of silence and completion. You may be looking back on this year and writing down a mental list of what you’ve loved and what you’ve loathed. You are more spiritually inclined, and feel that there is a ‘reason to everything’. You are at your best when you trust the process, because it shows a certain characteristic within you that embraces the inner stoic.
There is something quite mystical to the first few weeks, it’s no wonder people are drawn to you and the personal magnetism that is oozing out. Life can feel quite attractive and lively as you dream deep with new desires, wants and needs. Venus and Mars in your sign for most of the month make you fiery, freaky and super capable - basically anything you wish to do, can be done now. On the 21st, Venus enters Virgo and your 2nd house of finances, this can be rather critical. It’s a transit that focuses on personal growth through materialistic status. Self-focus is critical now, and obviously very beneficial, but your mind appears to be elsewhere. On the 22nd, the Sun enters your sign and makes you very popular. There is a sensation of anticipation as you look back on the year that was, preparing yourself for the unknowable of what is to come. Intentions should focus on surrendering - letting go of any illusions of control or power or dominance that you like to entertain. Embrace the positive qualities of your sign, such as courage and generosity, authenticity and romance. On the 24th, an Aquarius Full Moon opposes your sign and conjuncts Pluto, making an awkward aspect for you. A Full Moon almost always brings to light something that needs to be changed. Full Moon's are culminations and this one will occur in your romantic 7th house of commitment and marriage. With Saturn so close, also in Aquarius, it can really illuminate certain epiphanies around a partner, lover or personal relationship. Focus on boosting others with support, not tearing them down when you feel uncomfortable or vulnerable. People do so much for you, give a little back.
Dates to look out for; 4th, 8th, 11th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 28th.
VIRGO
A month of potential opportunities, Virgo. Everything has been swimming around in your mind lately, and it’s been hard to branch out with one particular thing - it’s no wonder, with all the restless retrograde energy affecting you. Now is the time for a break up in your usual routine however and a spontaneous decision could be just the thing that is needed. For you, as always, a lot is going on behind the scenes. A Saturn + Uranus square on the 7th gets things going as you are pushed outside of your comfort zone, perhaps triggering a very fruitful idea. For many of you, something is launching, beginning, re-starting or being requested. On the days leading up to the Cancer New Moon you feel impulsive as the Sun merges with the Moon in your social 11th house. You are not as strategic as usual, preferring to play from the heart. Community orientated themes follow you in these first two weeks, and a fresh start with a team or colleague may result. On any given day, you are philanthropic - it’s what draws people in. But, at this moment you’re given a chance to question if your social circle gives the same energy to you. Are your peers your people?! Do they contribute to you in the same way you do to them? On the 15th, Chiron stations retrograde in Aries, and emotions feel temporary. How you look at finances can abruptly change, or you become aware of a major glitch in the system.
On the 21st, Venus enters your sign which makes you popular - the focus will very much be on you, so treat yourself. There is a conversation around this date that can open a few doors, but because it occurs in a quiet part of your chart, you feel more subdued than usual. Putting in time and effort will require a lot of your attention, only making you reach for the most ‘important’. The next day the Sun enters Leo, turning up the heat in your private life. Love and family can be animated, as people from the past come creeping back with a message. It can be as simple as you reclaiming some of your lost power, and this can feel exciting or even mysterious - as to why it had to happen just now. With so much emphasis on introspection, you can be especially reflective or nostalgic. A Full Moon in Aquarius lights up your 6th house of routine & health on the 24th, giving you an opportunity to look at where you are heading in your career and how stress may be affecting your health. You should look for signals now, although they may be painfully evident, manifesting in aches and pains over your body. A shift in priorities helps you recognise where you go too turbo, not everything should have to fall on you. Lastly, Jupiter circles back into Aquarius, engaging in retrograde, pointing out yet again that there is a tendency to look back on the past. The next day, on the 29th, Mars leaves Leo for your sign, launching into a 6 week cycle of independence, authority and initiative.
Dates to look out for; 4th, 10th, 15th, 24th, 27th, 29th.
LIBRA
Delays due to retrogrades, force you to accept what is for now, Libra. July is a period of germination, indecision and waiting. You have been bogged down over the little details over the last few months but a cosmic turnaround is coming, you just have to wait mid-month for it to materialise. Professionally and personally you are in a cycle of networking, and you gravitate toward the chosen people in your life especially over the 10th, when a New Moon in Cancer merges with the Sun. Shifting into your 10th house of ambition and reputation, your career drive is strong. A life goal could be materialising - perhaps you’re taking the next step with a lover, moving onto a new job or anticipating the birth of a family member. Step up to be recognised for your achievements and be counted in business - authority figures will respect you more. A New Moon is different to a Full Moon however, and it’s important to assume that the doors that do open in this window will be significant for the next 6 weeks to come. Presume that everything showing up is symbolic in nature and has its place in your life. On the 15th, Neptune in Pisces trines the Sun, spreading magic in your love life. From mid-month, your love life is turned up a notch and you process feelings in a more physical way. Your libidio could be quite high - but are you willing to put yourself out there?
On the same day, Chiron stations retrograde in Aries, influencing old patterns or partners to get back into contact. There are big things to think about throughout July, and the main theme is to really show up for your vocation. From the 21st, Venus enters Virgo and your 12th house of the ‘unseen’. You seek alone time in which you can reflect, as a compromise could be reached between you and a fire sign. This latter part of the month has certain obligations that you must fulfil, and even if you don’t feel like being social, you are called to act. From the 22nd, the Sun enters Leo, extending your attention to the people you’ve neglected. This fiery and dramatic transit through the lion is about being bold and confident, so I’d suggest throwing a little caution to the wind and looking up at the road ahead. A Full Moon in Aquarius appears on the 24th in your romantic 5th house, helping you own feelings. You see, everything ties in perfectly when the cosmos asserts its power - make no mistake, there will be delicious discoveries in regards to children, romance, long-term partnerships and creative pursuits. If a friend offers an invite, take it. If you feel a call to do something unique, do it! Love blossoms in unexpected ways late in the month, especially as Jupiter circles back into Aquarius to continue it’s retrograde. Having Jupiter in the same place as the Aquarius Moon means that the energy is doubled and that through vulnerability, liberation occurs.
Dates to look out for; 4th, 10th, 15th, 19th, 24th, 28th.
SCORPIO
In this year of responsibility, you find your diligent efforts are progressing to something worthy, Scorpio. July is spectacular for clarity, even with 5 planets in retrograde motion bringing you back to the past. Conflicting energies can make you crave something unusual however, so it’s important to remain as authentic as possible. Otherwise, the first two weeks of the month can have you acting as if you’re all over the shop - not knowing which way is up or down. A New Moon merges with the Sun in Cancer on the 10th of the month, aligning with Jupiter also in Pisces. The water theme is very strong here and can have you craving deep conversation, intense sex and erotic intimacy. Everything is turned up a notch, primarily because you feel so comfortable with where the cosmic forces are taking you. This lunation will occur in your 9th house of adventure, study and knowledge. You are in the process of learning something unique, and there is a strong possibility that you’re also teaching and educating others. There is an element of cerebral intelligence - yet it can be very hard to disassociate from whatever is going on in your personal life. You are too caught up in something else to make the pursuit of business worthwhile at this time. For many of you, profound experiences can come from listening and leaning into spirit. Explore where these epiphanies take you, after all a New Moon is always about a new perspective.
On the 13th, Venus conjuncts Mars, both in dramatic Leo. Passions are high, making you amorous to the one you love. This transit can be a case of ‘opposites attract’ and someone rather left field can take your attention all the way. From the 15th, Chiron stations retrograde in Aries, where it breaks down trauma and separation. Chiron works in favour of you, but it’s not going to be pleasant, at least not early on its cycle. Instead, you will be pushed to integrate where and why you feel discouraged - triggers are here to show you what needs to be altered. On the 21st, Venus in Virgo enters your 11th house of friendship, helping you adjust to a more refined direction. The stars are encouraging you to get out there, to speak your truth and share what is in your heart. People are walking in and out of your life, but mostly you’re filled by positive experiences. A Full Moon in Aquarius lights up the sky on the 24th in your 4th house of family and belonging. Some of you may be moving, coming home or perhaps adding in a new member to your family. Others are facing the very real issue of being forgotten, brushed aside or abused. It’s evident that in the latter part of the month there are tensions in the family unit, and you will need compassion and a certain grace to reach a compromise. This Full Moon as always is about culmination - one door closing, in order for a window to open. As Mercury sits at the top of your chart, you will notice you adapt easier, making this transitionary period an improvement once you pass safely through it. On the 28th, Jupiter re-enters Aquarius strengthening your desire for teamwork and collaboration.
Dates to look out for; 3rd, 7th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 29th.
SAGITTARIUS
If you let your stubborn streak emerge, things will fall apart fast, Sagittarius. July is an interesting month, surprising you with its intensity. Aim to look on the bright side, and to accept that even though things may be muddled, they turn out OK in the end. Let’s start at the beginning, around the 7th when Venus in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius. Emotions are pushed to the forefront, no matter how much you try to keep them under wraps. On the 10th, a New Moon in Cancer merges with the Sun and shifts into your 8th house of intimacy, finances and mystery. This can manifest in many different ways, and really it’s about mutual gains for you and your partner. In business, alliances are strengthened and investments are secured. Your interpersonal skills put you a cut above the rest, but recognise where improvements need to be made. Trial and error are a big part of the 8th house, which naturally rules Scorpio, so the lessons learnt here can feel rather intense or unhinged. On the 15th, Chiron (wounds) turns retrograde in Aries, your sister - fire sign. This transit triggers healing and past regression, so you may mid-month go through a moment of introspective focus. Powerful changes come in fast when you take responsibility! Venus then moves into Virgo on the 21st, inspiring you to teach, guide and lead. Love is not as sweet, but it’s more thoughtful and practical. In this cycle, you can actually get some things done.
On the 22nd, the Sun enters Leo and your 9th house of education, exploration and adventure, piquing your interest to jump far out of the comfort zone. Leo Season always favours you, assisting you to come to a conclusion on certain boundaries. It may feel like life gets smaller in the beginning, but in actual fact, can widen the joy with time. Respecting your own zone pulls up others to do the same. On the 24th, an Aquarius Full Moon brings in 3rd house themes to your everyday life. You will be more efficient, tying up loose ends and running errands to declutter your home. The third house is about communication however, so there may be a desire to finally have a conversation or share a personal story. Whatever the case may be, it’s important to remain wise and fair - hastiness only makes waste in your life. With your ruler Jupiter taking its turn to retrograde back in Aquarius (on the 28/29th), the energy can very much be turning inward in these last few days of the month. The spotlight can feel rather uncomfortable or unnerving - yet the only way to turn the tide in your favour is to stay calm to things you cannot change. Be motivated by goals, not people - as one can easily come and go. Sustain yourself through inner peace and quiet, after all that’s all we have to rely on.
Dates to look out for; 5th, 7th, 11th, 15th, 22nd, 24th, 29th.
CAPRICORN
July calls for a collective time out, Capricorn. A month in which you can re-vision plans and priorities, streamlining your life for peace of mind. Things begin to look decidedly different as you see through fake, phoney behaviours and situations. A certain feeling in business or love cannot be avoided any longer, and things come to head around the 10th, when a New Moon in Cancer merges with the Sun, and harmonises with Jupiter in Pisces. This is a powerful lunation as it occurs in your house of relationships, strengthening long term partners while revealing to you who you really love most. There is remarkable energy for greater intimacy, deeper connection and stronger trust, but you just have to be vulnerable enough first! This impulsive lunation helps you curb misguided injustices or plain bratty behaviour - and you finally have the courage to make something real. Venus and Mars in Leo align here on the 13th, confirming that private life features strongly. Mid month, the Sun in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn, asking for your utmost sincerity on a situation. You have no other option than to be blatantly honest, as feelings that come up cannot be ignored any longer. Permit yourself to ‘start again’ somewhere along the line, and recognise when improvements need to be made. Your individualistic streak can challenge these notions but really only affirms the fact that somethings gotta give.
You want to affirm your identity, yet the universe is asking you to drop control. Pluto doesn’t quite understand this either because it is so forceful and dominating. You are not helpless to the situations occurring however, so just stay resilient. On the 21st, Venus enters practical Virgo - boding well for your earthy nature. You can use emotional pragmatism and not get so caught up like you did in the first three weeks of the month. This cycle will make harmonious ties to Uranus in Taurus as well as Pluto in your sign, so channel the energy into productive business avenues. Business colleagues may be especially draining now, as you sit on the fence of making a difficult decision. On the 22nd, the Sun enters Leo, where it meets Mars in your mysterious and complex 8th house. You traverse deeper into a project, venture or collaborative endeavour. Dynamics can shift in a major way, even in intimate relationships, with one partner getting the upper hand in a big way! On the 24th, a Full Moon in Aquarius helps you surrender to what is going on in your finances. This lunation that occurs in your house of resources, imposes new rules on sharing responsibility equally with someone who hasn’t been doing any heavy lifting. Jupiter then turns back to Aquarius after its brief stint in Pisces, retrograding until the end of the year. This will motivate you to disperse equal amounts of time to other hobbies and experiences in your life. Affirm intentions and turn to a fresh chapter in your life, there is a lot more in the coming months!
Dates to look out for; 2nd, 10th, 11th, 15th, 17th, 21st, 25th.
AQUARIUS
Take everything in stride, Aquarius. Even if July feels wildly different to what you’re used to! This surprising mid-year dance allows for curiosity to take you new places, as you mentally compartmentalise your previous issues. You will notice subtle changes as the month progresses and etches closer to Jupiter re-entering your sign from the 28th, but let’s look at the beginning first. On the 7th, Venus in Leo opposes Saturn in your sign, restricting emotions and blowing up comfort zones that you like to hide in. It can feel as though everyone’s looking to you for something, but you’ve got no idea what! Unhealthy emotional attachments to the past can also manifest with this transit, as you find yourself obsessing over someone from the past. On the 10th, a New Moon in Cancer joins the Sun in your 6th house of health and wellness, permitting you to take a breather and focus on your best. Business life can require effort, and getting organised may feel impossible with the dense water energy coming in from all angles. Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces harmonise with the lunation, but make you feel like you’re running out of ideas on how to make employment work to your benefit. The ball gets rolling from the 13th, when Venus conjuncts Mars, both in Leo, revealing something resourceful to you. This helps you regain some balance in your work life, if perhaps you’ve not been putting in much effort.
On the 17th, the Sun opposes Pluto - conflicting you to certain messages coming through. Someone may not be telling the whole truth in a situation and it becomes evidently clear. Perhaps, a water sign partner or an earth sign friend. Extreme reactions are likely, because people hate getting caught out. The solution here is to take a step back and let ego go. On the 21st, Venus enters earthy Virgo, pushing you to be of service to others. There is no time for the soppy, gushy love stories - you go back to pragmatism instead, somewhere you feel rather normal. Finances, loans and shared secrets come into focus with the 8th house being accentuated here, and you can clearly see the root of a poison within a relationship. It may feel challenging to fix, but it’s not impossible, and only in this moment will you know how much this person means to you - as you attempt to fix. On the 24th, a Full Moon occurs in your sign - benefitting you in multiple ways. This lunation will act like a physical and mental re-set as it shifts into your 1st house, so it’s best to surrender to the universe and see everything as a blessing. There are countless discoveries being made in which you embrace your independence in this latter part of the month. This Moon feels like some sort of peak moment, where you recognise a certain need. Whatever comes to fruition, be open too. On the 28th, Jupiter comes back to you, where it will stay retrograde until December 28th. It’s completely normal to feel an array of intense emotions. Raise in spirit and be strategic with your next move forward.
Dates to look out for; 3rd, 10th, 13th, 17th, 24th, 28th.
PISCES
The mystery of life continues to entice you, Pisces. July is an outstanding month to navigate, and its potential for sudden, eruptive feelings can even surprise you. The lesson here is to take everything in your stride, especially because so much of what you do will be focused around other people, relationships and friendships. There is a strong desire to contribute, as you look at organising yourself and your problem areas. Let’s start at the most important date, the Cancer New Moon on the 10th, which merges with the Sun, while harmonising with Neptune and Jupiter in your sign. Shifting into your romantic 5th house, it’s evident you didn’t come to play! People gravitate toward you in droves, and although you feel delighted, you also recognise just how much they drain you. There is a spiritual spotlight on this vibration, one in which you must choose to put yourself first. That is where real love stems from, boundaries being erected even by the most sensitive, sweet little fish. Drama can occur from a past flirtation or maybe you’re just hung up on someone from the past. This hurdle can feel challenging to get by, because of it’s all consuming nature. A good way to satisfy your urges now is to express yourself, creatively - and to affirm what it is you *truly* wish for.
On the 11th, Mercury enters Cancer which bodes well for you, as you can narrate your own story with better frequency. Mercury in Cancer is introspective, perceptive but illogical - so the facts may not appear clear. Or perhaps, they do to everyone else and not you. This can muddle logic from truth and it can require a lot of inner work to get back to ‘source’. A few days later, the retrograde energy is increased, when Chiron stations into Aries, triggering the shamanic aspect of your life. It is said often that Pisces give great advice, yet seldom take it! This transit is your time to be your own medicine, your own sage - and to look inside for answers. Venus then enters Virgo on the 21st, your fellow mutable sign. Things begin to move fast now, but in a very practical, sensible way. Virgo is your opposite sign, so there can be a pragmatism within you that’s not evident often. It can be a breath of fresh air to people who are in intimate relationships with you, because you don’t take everything so seriously. This cycle will harmonise with Uranus and Pluto! A day later, the Sun enters it’s home sign of Leo, and we radiate warmth and generosity. You won’t accept the same old story when it comes to romance, but it’s not a particularly lustful time as both Venus and Mars are in your 6th house of health, mentality and body image. On the 24th, an Aquarius Full Moon helps you be of service to others as it shifts into your 12th house. Dreams are powerful, or you just have a hunch that something is likely to occur. You engage well with the 12th house as it embraces your spiritual side. Finally, Jupiter, your co-ruler, turns retrograde in the sign of Aquarius on the 28th giving you a lot to think about. If you’ve taken many risks over these last few months, you may be feeling it personally. The same can be said if you’ve been playing things to be safe - and getting absolutely nowhere.
Dates to look out for; 2nd, 12th, 17th, 21st, 24th, 28th.
