Freedom means different things to different people. Throughout Aries season, freedom is bold, assertive, enthusiastic and a tad overwhelming in its quest for autonomy. The fire burning within is amplified, we’ve got something to say, something to fight for - and that is apparent for all people - not just a select few. If March left you feeling stuck somewhere along the way, April comes to pull you right out of the mud with little tact or diplomacy. Collectively across the globe, there is death occurring to the ‘old’ paradigm - and we must embody a certain higher consciousness if we are to evolve. This can prove hard to do, especially if we want to slink back into habits of false security and distraction. April is a month where things get A LOT better before they get A LOT worse (June, July). I don’t mean ‘worse’ to scare you, but for the rest of the year from the 28th April onwards, we do not have a retrograde free day. This means the energy we are yet to experience will be chaotic, cleansing, condensed and confusing.
Let’s get started on some of the important dates we must acknowledge this month;
On the 9th, Neptune makes an awkward and chaotic square to Mars. That same day, Mercury conjuncts Chiron - both in Aries. The fact that Mercury rules communication, and that Chiron deals with personal trauma and healing means we are looking at very touchy subjects resurfacing on or around this date. We feel the depth of our wounds, how they ‘ruin’ us when we are close to happiness and how at times, they seem to dictate the state of our lives. In fact, our past does not define us. And, each day we are given a choice to alter, grow and prosper. Chiron is here to remind you of that, even if you are deep in the despair of where you have been. We are liable to change our life at any given moment. On the 12th/13th, a New Moon in enthusiastic Aries initiates a new lunar cycle. Life is actually full of potential in this moment, our ambitions and objectives are leading us down the garden path - one where we can truly be our own ‘master’ of destiny, and decide what we wish to achieve in the next 12 months. There is a beneficial sextile occurring between the Moon and Mars + Saturn. A square to Pluto in Capricorn agrees with the Aries vibration of action, reaction and movement. On the 17th, Mercury in Aries makes a square to Pluto in Capricorn. There is a growing interest in uncovering some sort of truth, and because of this one can feel an obsessive compulsion to upturn their life. Use this time wisely, research, ponder, inquire and question what it is you’re trying to get to the ‘bottom off’. Don’t let delusions fester inside of you - speak with friends or a professional if you need insight. On the 20th, Mercury and the Sun enter earthy Taurus, meeting Venus already here. The energy switches up quickly, and the mood moves from enthusiastic and cheery to a little more subdued, calming, quietly confident. Taurus is practical but not realistic, instead Taurus is somewhat of a dreamer. From the 24th, Mars moves into the feminine sign of Cancer, where it will stay for the next 6 weeks. This is an unusual placement for the aggressor planet, and one it won’t take too so kindly. Cancer is emotional, enchanting, sensitive and charming. All of us, regardless of how cool and calm we usually act, will be a tad more intense in terms of feelings, desires and opinions. It’s not possible with Cancer to conceal how we really feel, so expect tears and tribulations. It begins to wrap up on the 27th, when a Scorpio Full Moon lights up our sky. Opposing Uranus and making a sweet trine to Mars, things will feel sumptuously sexy on the eve of this Moon and many people will be howling for the one they love. It’s an electric moon that pours fuel over our emotions - everything is extra. Extra hurtful, extra naughty, extra intimate. Lastly, on the 28th, we wave goodbye to our retrograde free days - as Pluto stations retrograde in the sign of Capricorn until October 6th. Every year we contend with Pluto retrograde, so it’s really nothing to fear. Pluto is revealing and unpredictable, even magical in nature - in Capricorn, it is conflicting. The energies can cancel one another out, but Pluto calls for deep trust and acceptance. It requires surrender, letting go off ‘controlling’ behaviours which Capricorn is known to inhabit. For those with strong Aries, Cancer and Libra placements this can be an especially difficult 6 months. Carry yourself with dignity and grace, be careful!!
All year, Saturn is in a square to Uranus (3 alignments over the course of 2021), replacing the outdated system’s we’ve grown so fond of living in. Collision between ‘now and then’ is inevitable - everything can feel at a cross purpose. This is most definitely one off, if not the most important transit that occurs this year. Understand it’s significance by being sensitive to what it has to teach you - this is the only way you’ll get through this uncomfortable but ultimately remarkable time.
Tend to your self care, there is a lot of wonderful ‘new’ energy in the air. We are stepping into a very activated time period for this year - SO much is going to burst, bubble and spill over. We are in a changing phase - and the chaotic months of May, June and July will showcase this portal in a rather bright, uncomfortable light. Use the energy where you can, while you can, make the best of what you’ve got!
May your cup runneth over..
With love,
Srna
Aries: March 21 - April 19
April is one of the sweetest months of the year for you, April. It is birthday time after all, and most of the planets (especially early on) are geared toward helping you - rebirthing you in the age of Aquarius. Everything starts to roll from the 3rd, when Mercury enters your sign and meets Venus and the Sun here in the 1st house of self, image and personality. You are motivated by your lifestyle, but the conversation can feel selfish - at least to others. You seem to be all about yourself, and your judgment and opinion take over conversation overwhelming the mood. On the 9th, Mercury makes a conjunction to Chiron - both in your sign, helping you own up to some deep hurt’s and vulnerabilities. Your personal back story may come up in an unusual way, in front of other people. You may try to defend yourself or your part and then be confused as to why you’re explaining yourself to people who don’t even matter. The New Moon is exalted in your sign, along with the Sun on the 12th/13th making it a superb time to begin with something new. Business projects, collaborative endeavours, moving homes or attracting a lover are all accelerating with full speed, and the choice is yours in this moment. This Moon is sextile to Mars in Gemini and to Saturn in Aquarius. There is an awkward square going on with Pluto - making you want to turn dreams into reality.
On the 15th, Venus moves into your 2nd house of finance and public service. You could be caught up on something you haven’t yet achieved - but by the time the 20th comes into focus, and Taurus season takes over, you forget any misgivings. Taurus season is so very different from your time, it’s stubborn and sensitive, yet practical in its execution. The North Node in Gemini is in your 3rd house of communication, underlining the fact that for now, you are the messenger, and there is something urgent you need to talk about. In terms of love, a forgiving conversation may take place around the 13th, 14th, 15th. This other individual may be a fire sign; Leo, Sagittarius or Aries and the hurt could come from some judgements that were made by you personally. It seems like the impending apology is coming from you, or perhaps a conversation never takes place - and this situation just ruminates in your head instead. There is an energy around you that confirms you know what you want, but regardless, life has a way of provoking you to think twice. On the 24th, Mars, your ruler, enters Cancer, a sign it does not feel natural in. What ensues over the next 6 weeks can surprise even you - as Mars gets comfortable in your 4th house of belonging, home, roots and family. Refining your space, decorating or nesting, can be a top priority - it’s all about making the most of your ‘space’. On the 27th, a Full Moon in Scorpio shifts into the illuminating 8th house which rules over shared debt, finance issues and intimacy. Everything is up for debate, pick your words carefully.
Dates to watch out for; 3rd, 5th, 9th, 13th, 18th, 28th
Taurus: April 20 - May 20
The month begins slowly, sleepily - as if you’ve just woken up to what’s been happening around you, Taurus. Mercury, Venus and the Sun in Aries are moving through your 12th house of silence and secrecy, giving your unconscious mind much to ponder on. All year, but especially in February, June and December, there is a tense and chaotic square occurring between Uranus (in your sign) and Saturn (in Aquarius). This transit is one of the key 2021 themes, that revolves around ‘out with the old, in with the new’. It helps you to focus on the ‘bigger picture’, but not the dreamy one you’ve got inside your heart - the real one going on in real time while you live your everyday life. Uranus and Saturn uncover hidden obstacles that keep making you trip up, so these first three weeks of a tumultuous mid-year point are needed for self-care - and a little ‘me’ time. A New Moon in Aries aligns with the Sun and Venus again in your 12th house of privacy. Keep sane by reflecting, reading or journaling - writing down where you’re at will feel like a great relief once you look back on it, in due time. On the 15th, the tide turns as Venus enters your sign, admiring and applauding you. Venus loves to be in Taurus as this is where she is most comfortable, in her domicile. You are charismatic, cheeky and conniving. Whatever you wish for, can be yours now.
In terms of love, you are shedding your skin and embracing who you are now, in 2021. You do not want to wait around for someone to catch up to where you’ve grown too - but it’s also apparent that someone in your intimate life, just isn’t rising to the level. Your progress can be intimidating to some, and it’s true that you’ve got laser focus when it comes to ‘more’. Birthday season then begins on the 20th, as the Sun and Venus merge together in your sign. You, out of all people will feel the energetic shift most. Although you are a stubborn, practical bull - in your heart, you are a dreamer, inspired by love and magic. It’s time to put stamina behind your ideas and forge ahead, before the Eclipse season begins and turns things haywire. From the 24th, Mars enters Cancer and your chatty 3rd house, helping to connect you with others. Contributing to community will form relationships in which you can grow and prosper - it may just take an unusual character to get you on board. So, entertain the idea of anyone, they could be the person you’ve been seeking all along. On the 27th, a Full Moon in Scorpio signals a time to focus on relationships and adjusting grand expectations. People can only do so much. Have you asked yourself lately, where do you fall short?! Pluto turns retrograde at the end of the month, around the 28th, leaving no stone unturned. Painful memories can come up, but they’re here to remind you how far you’ve come since then.
Dates to watch out for; 4th, 12th, 16th, 22nd, 29th
Gemini: May 21 - June 20
You don’t have time to waste, Gemini. It’s full steam ahead before the rail roading months of May, June and July begin to play their jokes on us. The importance of other people does not go unnoticed in April - in fact, every week you are engaging with multiple friends, family members, colleagues and lovers. It begins on the 3rd, when Mercury, your chatty ruler moves into Aries. Meeting Venus and the Sun here in your social 11th house, keeping you close to friends and enemies alike. As always, you put your best foot forward, no one ever gets close enough to see you sweat - but inside you face an avalanche of denial. You’re unsure which way to go, and it could be about something innately personal. The New Moon on the 12th in Aries focuses it’s gaze up on your networking skills, you know how to zero in on the most important person in the room. In terms of love, you could have someone trying really hard to reconnect with you. Opposing energies are penetrating your field but you know not to fall for the same old tricks again. Many of you are holding back for some reason, but this person is very much here - in your life or in your circle.
The North Node is in your sign, ruling over the destiny of your 1st house. Image, reputation, goals and wishes are highlighted and your eyes are opened to where you may be loosing your own identity. Or who you’re loosing it for. The Node’s align with the Eclipse cycle which also centres around the Gemini/Sagittarius axis from late June - so there is pressure mounting on you to be intentional and precise with your word. Three times this year, there is an awkward transit occurring between Uranus and Saturn (but it’s felt all throughout the year), showing you what you’re chained too. Tensions arise when you feel restricted by people, professions or routine - a completely natural state of being for such an airy sign like yourself. You need to represent yourself at all times - to stay sovereign. That is always top priority, so when Mars moves into Cancer and your communicative 3rd house on the 24th, you’re keen to speak up about any injustices you have been facing. Although at times you keep things superficial, in the sign of Cancer, you will wear your heart on your sleeve more than usual - those closest to you will come to really appreciate this. Finally, a Scorpio Full Moon arrives on the 27th/28th in your 6th house of health. You must take a moment to check in with yourself - and see if you’re misaligned somewhere. The inner you, is just as important as the outer - and the 6th house will highlight any pains or ailments. When Pluto turns retrograde the next day, we are done with our fast paced energy - pushing us to leap. Instead, Pluto the planet of death and rebirth, urges us to confront our fears and insecurities. The next 6 weeks will be extremely wild, don’t go hard on yourself or others.
Dates to watch out for; 4th, 6th, 12th, 18th, 24th, 27th
Cancer: June 21 - July 22
Life leaves you feeling pleasantly surprised, Cancer. But, it’s no time to stop what you’ve been doing. Instead, it’s better you keep at it - going hard, putting thought into action. On the 4th, the Aries Sun, Venus and Mercury sit in your academic, assertive 10th house. Career is front and centre and what is developing is only furthered by the 12th, when a New Moon in Aries also shifts into the 10th house of business. Social standing may be just as important with an accentuated 10th house - so who you know and how you know them may be a topic of discussion. Creative endeavours that appear risky may appeal more in this time, as you sense that if you pull it off you can gain more than you had imagined. Things have a way of working out for themselves, as long as you push up hill. In terms of love, things may be feeling kind of lonely. There may be an elephant in the room that no one wishes to address - but once you do, could remove obstacles fast!
Venus enters Taurus on the 15th, changing the mood in love. You are determined to put your best foot forward, no matter what it takes. As the Sun leaves Aries for Taurus on the 20th, to enter your 2nd house of possessions, you realise somethings are intangible, and can never be taken from you. Like your smile, your grace and your compassion for all of man kind. Not everything has a fixed price, but everyone has one they’d settle for. The feminine side to you may be exceptionally destructive right now, because you are feeling intimidated or doing your best to intimidate someone else. Throughout April, it’s best to give this behaviour a rest. Otherwise you run the risk of acting too cold and calculated, and scaring something rather authentic away. Mars, the planet of aggression may have something to do with this jealous streak. As the planet shifts into your sign on the 24th, where it will stay for 6 weeks acquiring power. You can be extra confident with this transit, maybe too confident. Regardless, you’ll be feeling charismatic, creative and in charge. The days progress and emotions rise to the top, it’s really no wonder with a magnetic Scorpio Full Moon occurring in your fertile 5th house. You are tied by your fantasies or fascinations - and things can get very dark, very quickly. Some of you may be provoked by another individual, you could be driven to do anything, even cheat. Watch out for your sensations, while sexual energy may be high - you don’t want to get involved in something you can’t get out off.
Dates to watch out for; 2nd, 4th, 22nd, 24th, 27th, 30th
Leo: July 23 - August 22
Don’t make any decisions just yet, Leo. All the cards are not on the table and it’s too soon to make a judgement call. Instead go slowly in the month of April, and make sure everything has its place. On the 3rd, Mercury joins Venus and the Sun in your 9th house of higher learning, international growth and intention, making it a fine time for connection. Some of you may be engaging in personal rituals, that help you outline what you want for the next 6 months ahead. In reality, you want it all. The Aries New Moon on the 12th aligns with the 9th house too, advancing your thirst for knowledge, learning and sharing. You are keen to collaborate and story tell, accepting invitations to spend time with those who have the resources and ‘know how’. There can be great focus in the first 3 weeks of the month on the ‘material’ or the ‘public’ persona you play. Venus moves into Taurus on the 15th, influencing your 10t house of career and professional status.
In terms of love, you are feeling learned. More wisdom, intuition and courage has laced itself into your personality and you have greatly helped yourself by seeking out individuals who give good advice and understand where you’re coming from deep down. Over the last few months, you may have repressed certain emotions, pushing things down when the going got tough. Now, in April, you’re feeling so much clearer, calmer - in tune. On the 20th, the Aries Sun makes way for Taurus, merging together your need for sensuality and stability. On the 24th, Mars enters Cancer and the psychic 12th house. A climax appears around this date, perhaps making you choose one or the other. This transit is strong for the next 6 weeks, and tends to zero in on the silent, unseen realms of your life. Just when you wish for a moment to yourself, the energies shape shift and increase intensity. The Scorpio Full Moon plays its part here, entering your 4th house of home and family. There is something that needs to be addressed in your immediate environment, and it may serve as a wake up call. A sibling seems to be in the middle here, especially an older one that may have lost their way. Pluto turns retrograde at the end of the month showing up as your shadow side. This transit occurs every year for 6 months at a time and can be especially healing. Don’t turn your face away.
Dates to watch out for; 4th, 12th, 20th, 27th, 30th
Virgo: August 23 - September 22
There is a vibration humming through you, Virgo. It is related to the fact that Mercury, your ruler enters the sign of Aries on the 3rd, where it will meet Venus and the Sun in your transformative 8th house. This particular house rules various topics, such as intimacy, shared finances, future plans and long term ideas. It is the house of mystery, the one in which just about anything can occur. There is a lot of serendipity to the month of April, and this 8th house just confirms this further. On the 12th, a New Moon in Aries doubles down on this unusual energy, giving you something unexpected to think about. If relationship issues made you cry in March, they’ll have a chance to simmer down now and make some sense. In terms of love, something is not quite ready to flourish. If a partner or lover is making you feel rushed to make a decision, understand that there is a time coming where you will have to leap. All too often, you get comfortable in your cocoon of safety but it’s not healthy, for right now, to stay here forever. Instead, plant seeds for your future - give into the lover/partner you’re with and let it take you where you need to go. If you are single, April has sublime stars for connection and the people you randomly meet can lead to a special union.
From the 20th, the Sun leaves Aries for Taurus, your earthy sister sign. Almost right away, you feel more comfortable with socialising and speaking your mind. You feel encouraged by Venus and the Sun merging in your 9th house of philosophy, pushing you to ask the tough questions. Your feelings toward someone may be obscured in this time but as the 24th rolls around and Mars enters Cancer, you begin to notice it making sense. Mars does not love being in the feminine and subtle sign of the crab, and in your 11th house of social connection, it will require more from you than usual to yield the same type of results you’re used to. A Scorpio Full Moon in your 3rd house on the 27th/28th, clears the path for some much needed honesty. Emotions are sexy but savage, and you don’t know how to address one big thing without ultimately getting into a whole other conversation. Don’t force yourself to be more receptive than you feel - you don’t owe anyone a thing! Unfortunately, on the 28th Pluto stations retrograde, marking the last of our ‘retrograde free’ days - and yanking open old wounds. Pluto is not graceful, as the planet of death/rebirth, he takes no time in pleasantries. Instead, you are being asked to identity what’s hurting - provocation may be strong at the time too, so watch how you engage!
Dates to watch out for; 6th, 7th, 12th, 17th, 27th
Libra: September 23 - October 22
Expectations leave you waiting for something that may never happen, Libra. Relationships are all consuming this month, as Mercury, Venus and the Sun congregate in Aries and your committed 7th house. Everything revolves around closeness, connection and lasting intimacy - 3 things that can prove hard to uphold in the routine of every day life. There can be a tendency to lean on a partner quite heavily, and the New Moon on the 12th in Aries further deepens this ‘love train’ trajectory. Some of you may be attempting to bring peace to a fractured relationship, and it’s driving you in a unique way. All that you do can be to appease a partner, but it’s important to step out of the box, and ask yourself, if you feel the same level of devotion and love being gifted to you. Venus, your ruler, leaves Aries for Taurus on the 15th, a sign it really, really enjoys. The next day, the Sun squares Pluto, leaving you feeling mystified by the way someone close to you has been acting. You don’t know how to decipher their language, or perhaps something has changed between you two and it’s feeling almost impossible to rekindle. The Sun in Taurus on the 20th, merges with Venus in your 8th house of rebirth, proving its time to cut that invisible cord that binds you to an ex or toxic friend.
In terms of love, this month gradually showcases something quite shocking. This can manifest in many different ways, perhaps you are not achieving goals with a partner like you thought you would. Commitment from a partner seems skewed, as if their attention is placed somewhere else. If you are single, you may be feeling extra lonely - or fed up that it’s never your ‘turn’. In some cases, a few of you will be feeling like you want to walk away from love all together. The long term value just isn’t making itself viable to you - but don’t be too hasty. The Gemini North Node is ruling over your 9th house of travel and higher learning, encouraging you to define your personal philosophy. What is crucial to your self-development? What is hindering your progress? You must embrace the experience before you in order to understand where you’re at fully. On the 24th, Mars enters Cancer and your ambitious 10th house. You focus more on finances from this date forward, especially as a Full Moon in Scorpio draws closer, in your 2nd house of service. Becoming self-sufficient is a major goal for you, but it’s best to stay under the radar until June and July pass by.
Dates to watch out for; 4th, 14th, 18th, 24th, 27th
Scorpio: October 23 - November 21
Whatever comes your way can be potentially life changing, Scorpio. That’s how big these next few months are in the scheme of things. You set out to be organised and enthusiastic, but life has other plans. It begins early, with Mercury activating your 6th house of health and remedy, merging with Venus and the Aries Sun. There is a long ‘to-do’ list in front of you, and yet, your mental health may be the last thing you place as priority. This transit is here to remind you that just won’t do. The world can’t work if you don’t, harness your personal power and energy by making time for self care. You will need it to survive June/July. On the 12th, a New Moon in Aries furthers the 6th house influence, creating sublime opportunities for business and collaboration to prosper. A saving grace can be the strong sense of sisterhood currently occurring in your life and its calming energy is helping you reclaim some of your intuitive power.
The Taurus Sun takes over on the 20th, meeting Venus and Uranus, the planet of love in your enchanting and serious 7th house of romance. You are responsible for what you bring to a union, and there are certain skills and talents that make you special. Strong partnerships are favoured in this time, anything that is weak can fumble and break. In terms of love, there is a lot of hope in your heart to fulfil a certain individual’s needs. The give and take may not be meeting half way however, and you don’t feel as though you’re being provided with what YOU need. There is so much value in your essence, but this situation can make it hard for you to remember that. Everything is revolving around commitment and desire - and the ever-present question of how you merge both. Mars then enters your sensitive sites sign, Cancer on the 24th and your indulgent 9th house. Wander lust is strong, and its likely your dreams now take you to far away places. You feel compelled to step out of your comfort zone. The month ends with a Full Moon in your sign, Scorpio. This pretty much tells you that every day leading up to the 28th will be increasingly more and more about you - your candour - your truth and your opinion. This Moon is intense, as you can be, and it radiates profound Scorpionic energy through the night sky. You can feel alive, appreciated, curious and in love with the magic happening around you. The mood is alive, and this is just the beginning chapter of what is sure to be a lively few months.
Dates to watch out for; 2nd, 12th, 22nd, 27th, 29th
Sagittarius: November 22 - December 21
There’s been an interesting climax in your life, Sagittarius. April is a return to pleasure, just make sure you’re not burning the candle at both ends. It’s a busy cosmic month, but nothing compared to what’s coming throughout May-July, when eclipses, retrogrades and transits occur left, right and centre. There is a tense square activated between Saturn and Uranus all year, and it occurs three times throughout 2021, testing the limits to freedom. Saturn is conservative, Uranus is progressive, together they are updating our realities and truths, even if they rock us along the way. However, let’s get back to basics for now - Mercury joins the Sun and Venus in Aries in the romantic and playful 5th house on the 4th. Collaboration, intimacy and merging with another all come under this guise, and is further strengthened when a New Moon occurs on the 12th, in this same sign and house.
In terms of love, it’s time to let old fears go and break free from a mould that has been put upon you by bystanders. There is enormous strength moving around you, and if people aren’t careful they can be burnt by your fiery nature. It appears you are putting someone on pause while you take the time to re-think ‘why’ you fell for this individual in the first place. Something in your heart is tugging you a different way, and to another it looks like you’re keeping your options open. Mars moves into the unpredictable 8th house on the 24th, clearing up finances, debts and loans. You are more efficient toward the end of the month, more clear headed and calm. Believe that things will work out and they will. The Full Moon in Scorpio on the 27th awakens the 12th house of spirituality, ultimately changing the dynamic of the month. You are in a deep portal of observation, and your subconscious mind is working over time as it uncovers truths.
Dates to watch out for; 4th, 13th, 19th, 24th, 27th
Capricorn: December 22 - January 19
Lately, you’ve been going out, taking risks and reaping the rewards, Capricorn. Whether it be in love, friendship or business - things are moving and you feel a sense of optimism. Mercury activates your 4th house of home and childhood emotion, meeting Venus and the Aries Sun here. People you love most in the world take precedence, but difficult conversations may arise from the sheer emotion going on around you. The New Moon in Aries on the 12th echoes this mood, exploring ‘healing’ through people who know you best. A new chapter in your live ins unfolding - for some of you that may mean you’re getting engaged, married, pregnant or moving in. In terms of love, you seem to be waiting to make a move. Over the course of the last few months, you’ve had a lot playing around in your mind. In some way, you’ve been a tiny bit complacent - unsure on what action you wish to take next. Between you and a lover/partner there seems to be rising disappointment, as it appears that there is something blocking you both from making this new beautiful chapter together. If you have regret over something done in the past, now is a wonderful time to try again, if that is what you wish.
On the 20th, the Sun changes signs from Aries to Taurus, where it meets Venus in your romantic 5th house. Be proactive within your relationships, reach out to someone and be intimate in your speech. Show people your cards, better yet, your heart. A lighter mood is encouraged when Venus is in Taurus (it’s rulership)- followed by Mars entering Cancer on the 24th, in the committed 7th house of love. There is such strong emphasis on union and the joy of partnership - everything will revolve around ‘other people’ who make your life what it is. If you survive these next 6 weeks of Mars aggressively shaking up your love life, then you’re most definitely in it for the long haul. The Scorpio Full Moon on the 27th further intensifies emotions around you, as it radiates through your 11th house of friendship and socialising, invites keep on coming! Community and the people you wish to cultivate in your life are there for the plucking, it’s up to you to choose who helps you grow and prosper.
Dates to watch out for; 4th, 12th, 24th, 27th, 29th
Aquarius: January 20 - February 18
Nothing stays the same forever, Aquarius. April comes to realign you with your own magic - starting on the 3rd, when Mercury merges with Venus and the Sun in your fascinating 3rd house of communication, optimism and learning. The general rule of thumb with the 3rd house is that you will have to share in order to receive valuable answers to your question. But, at least you’re one step closer to connecting all the dots. The New Moon in Aries on the 12th furthers knowledge and information that you’ve been privy to collecting. In terms of love, someone in your circle is matching you in regards to your energy. This individual is not afraid to show themselves in a different or loud way. When you are together the confidence ramps up between you two, making you feel rather unstoppable in their presence. This person could very well be a water sign; Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces or perhaps they have strong water placements in their chart.
On the 15th, Venus changes signs into Taurus while the Sun squares Pluto. It’s a good time for intention, even though you may feel confused about what way’s up and what way’s down. Your ruler, Uranus, currently in Taurus is opposing Saturn, who is in your sign. This transit will occur in your 1st and 4th houses (all year), striking multiple circumstances at once. You seek a sense of clarity - one that distinguishes you from ‘everyone else’. Mars then activates your 6th house of routine when it enters Cancer on the 24th. The very next day, Mercruy conjuncts Venus and you are being admired from afar. This transit gives you greater creativity and you’re especially great at articulating your feelings. At the end of the month, a Scorpio Full Moon opposes Uranus in Taurus. Explosive emotions fuel the need for an outlet, and by the time Pluto stations retrograde on the 28th you’ll take anything you can get your hands on. Pluto is the planet for power, death and rebirth, true surrender will be required to move mountains now.

Pisces: February 19 - March 20
Emotions are heightened, leaving you to imagine all sorts of wild things, Pisces. The month begins with Mercury joining Venus and the Aries Sun on the 4th of April in your 2nd house of cash money. Finances are up for revision, and it seems like an ongoing theme, one you just keep slipping up on. A New Moon on the 12th also in Aries analyses this 2nd house too. You have to show some enthusiasm for the life you’re living, because currently there is a sense you may be holding back. On the 16th, the Sun squares Pluto helping you erect some serious boundaries. Positive intention can come from this transit but it requires the ‘work’, where you let go off obsessive thoughts and get your power back! In terms of love, there seems to be someone rather fiery around you. It can be translated to very ‘masculine’ energy - as in someone who likes to take control, handles responsibility well and can have a very frank conversation with little drama. You are in two minds about how you wish to approach a situation that is coming for you mid-April. Whatever you do choose to do, it’s most important you come from love, compassion and kindness. There is water under the bridge with you and this individual, but the deep feelings are very much still real.
A tense Uranus and Saturn square (occurring all year) is pushing you to challenge yourself in new and fundamental ways. It’s a month of release and surrender, there is no need to distract yourself - just stay the course. Merging with your unconscious mind get’s you a step closer to the divine. On the 20th, Venus accompanies the Taurus Sun in your 3rd house of communication and knowledge. Honesty will be the best policy with friends close to you. From the 24th, Mars enters Cancer bringing the romance to your fertile 5th house. Tapping into some hobbies may be a great way to relieve yourself of stress caused by many other people. The Scorpio Full Moon engages the three water signs - activating an avalanche of memory and nostalgia. On the evening of the 27th and 28th, the Moon engages with with your 9th house of adventure and knowledge. You’re ending the month with new found perspective, one that may take you to a completely unique place.
