Welcome Taurus Season, it’s your time to shine and show us how to keep it 100. Taurus is the 2nd sign in the zodiac, with Aries being the first - the newborn. Taurus therefore means that we begin to find our feet (so to speak) and embark on wandering this gorgeous earth - delightfully curious and interested in what we see around us. With Venus, Mercury and the Sun here life can feel more practical, simple, stable and grounded. We seek comfort and tried and true methods in our everyday life - we aren’t opposed to going the ‘routine’ way home. We are communicating clearer, kinder and calmer. Yet, in love we may be feeling the strings of jealousy and possessiveness pulling at our sensitive spot. This is because Venus in Taurus is rather obsessive. Infatuation pleases Venus in Taurus - it’s receptive to any display of romance, and it appreciates admiration and affection in partnership. The Moon is in Cancer, blurring the lines between conscious reality. We feel especially slow, but tomorrow the Leo Moon will come to wake us out of our slumber.
Venus will form a square to Neptune tomorrow morning, while Jupiter forms a semi sextile to Pluto (who is turning retrograde in a few days). This is it for the calm astrological weather, as May and June bring the mayhem. Mars will enter Cancer on the 23rd, followed by a very watery, enigmatic, powerful Super Full Moon in Scorpio on the 26/27th. This Full Moon, as always, is opposing its astrological ‘other half’. So, the Sun in Taurus (practical) versus the Moon in Scorpio (emotional) can be quite exhilarating, as well as messy, illuminating and fearful. Scorpio is shedding a dramatic light on what needs to be released. It is unavoidable, inevitable even - this Moon is creating that type of ‘situation’, the one that creates a new way of living in this world. There is A LOT going on in this configuration, not only is it a SuperMoon (juiced up Full moon on steroids) but there is also a square to Saturn (past) in Aquarius and a conjunction between Venus/Mercury to Uranus (future). There is discordance here - a certain way of life is dissolving rapidly. Pluto (death/transformation) is about to turn retrograde in Capricorn the very next day, amplifying the intense cycle we’re all in. Inner growth is SO uncomfortable, the hard truths can seem unbearable, we are not happy with ourselves somewhere in the matrix, and it’s killing us (metaphorically speaking) igniting issues like trust, power and control. Emotional maturity is being questioned - yours or someone else’s - and the capacity in which you love and comprehend is being tested, DAILY! It can be agitating this week because there is so much enlightenment (discomfort) going on - we have to confront this energy that seeks to psychoanalyse us. Own it.

Aries: March 21 - April 19
You’re not letting anyone stereotype you, Aries. The energy of this week can feel furious, as you say to yourself ‘no more’. Saturn is moving through Aquarius and is getting ready to square the Full Moon in Scorpio, early next week. There is a strong sense of personal power, as you notice you’ve matured and made yourself more ‘visible’ to the public eye.
