FEBRUARY MONTHLY HOROSCOPES

"As above, So below", the Hermetic maxim, implies that what is going on in the heavens mirrors what is happening on earth. We are part of a bigger dance ~ this I know, and 2021 will show us through the resonant themes of liberation, opportunity, sustainability and deliberate freedom, that despite everything, nothing is truly given freely. February will be dominated by Mercury retrograde in Aquarius with Venus, the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn also occupying Aquarius. Beginning on the 1st, romantic Venus enters Aquarius, making friendship as integral as love. This amplifies the importance of whatever messages you are receiving from the union of Venus and Pluto, as Venus may awaken important desires that will need to be tended and nurtured as she makes her way through her underworld phase in the months ahead. Venus and Jupiter will embrace one another in a rare conjunction, when they meet on the date of the New Moon (11th), also in the airy-fairy sign of Aquarius. There is a deeply humanitarian aspect to February, one that favours technology related endeavours, as well as forward thinking perspective.

This will be a short but pivotal month, with many brilliant moments peaking through the otherwise rocky terrain. Without doubt one of the most important events of the year is the high-strung conjunction between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius- as it will make a square aspect at three separate dates throughout 2021. The first being 17th February, the second on June 14th and the third and final, December 24th 2021. We must release in order to make space for the new forms emerging. Uranus is the rebellious planet that seeks its own, but Saturn is strict and harsh. Right away, we notice the significance of such a transit !! Breakthrough comes from not being affected by old fears, even when your strength is tested. This transit will require shadow work, victory does not occur overnight. Many emotional problems bubble up to the surface when we open to the spirit of shadow work, but life is a symphony of survival. We need new methods in order to bring about a new paradigm, in the age of Aquarius - it’s about de-conditioning, moving away from personal limits, boundaries and rules! Throughout February, it’s not always comfortable - mainly because ‘transformer' energy is deliberate, which means WE must step outside of our comfort zone.

To help you ease into this slow paced month, it’s best to dedicate yourself to one thing, and stay the course. Mercury is in retrograde from January 30th until February 21st, and will pull us back into existing tension between Mars, Saturn, Jupiter AND Uranus! Pay close attention to your dreams that Mercury will be delivering during its retrograde. The move direct on the 21st, will help us all advance forward with communication, ideas and goals. On the 19th, we welcome in a new season, the watery, dreamy, ethereal seas of Pisces. Reality bends in the sign of Pisces, who is ruled by Neptune, the master of illusion. Until March 20th, hone in on your spiritual experiences, give credence to intuition and be open to the messages angels send your way ~ Pisces isn’t logical, instead the energy is channeled through feeling and emotion. The Full Moon in Virgo on the 27th dramatically illuminates the ingress of the Sun in Pisces. This Moon can amplify our capacity to receive support from lineages, a potential also signified by the grouping of Venus, Saturn and Jupiter in the sign of Aquarius. There is simply something sublime about the Moon in Virgo ripening full in reflection of light cast by the Sun uniting with Neptune in Pisces. In Virgo we can sense the spirit in our flesh and the soul of the earth around us like nowhere else in the zodiac. Virgo can both discern and analyze insight from difficult or confusing experiences, as well as weave together meaning into tangible forms of shared understanding. Keep in mind that the imaginative propositions you may receive on this Virgo moon is likely to undergo many changes and shifts from now until April.

Let me end there, and give you space to ponder on the words before you and leave you with my favourite quote from the genius that was Albert Einstein; 'The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious – the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science.'

With that, I bid you adieu, see you next month :)

Aries: March 21 - April 19

Aries, there is so much positive energy throughout February to do with your 11th house of friendship and networking, that something good has to come out of it. February is a short but sweet moment in time, where you can maximise the Aquarius influence to work for you. The undercurrent of air placements gives you momentum, yet Mercury retrograde until the 21st, shifts you back into a gear or two. Therefore, there can be a stop/start vibe to this month, in which you actually question current friendships, relationships, or even family ties. Everything becomes tangible on the 11th, when an Aquarius New Moon, joined by a rare Venus-Jupiter conjunction, in your 11th house of hopes, dreams, friends and wishes, stimulates further romance and magic in your already active social life. Single Aries folk may fall head over heels for a long term friend, and/or couples may relive a moment from the past that brings back feelings of nostalgia and warmth. Within family dynamics, questions arise about how to proceed on a matter. So much stimulation in the 11th house often means a clearing within your personal path will occur, in which you may be left to feel awkward, thwarted or unimpressed. Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury all in Aquarius, appear in a big way in your chart, manifesting pivotal moments for new beginnings. In the midst of everything going on, you don’t even notice the blessings until after the month has passed through. That is how the 11th house works, it is subtle but heartfelt. With Mercury retrograde until the 21st, also in your 11th house, you come to recognise that you are really trying to establish ‘life goals’. Even if the details seem fuzzy, try to manage this transit by pacing yourself and others. A strategy to contain and control, is a really smart idea right now.

Until March 4th, business, valuables and the opportunity to buy, sell or lease is strong. You’re likely feeling fired up, and this is what Aquarius energy drives you to do, rethink the possibilities. In fact, February can prove to be a ‘rebirth’ of self, one where you reconnect with all the past lives you’ve lived and transformed from. The big news arrives on the 17th with a tense Mars-Uranus conjunction, enflaming the terms of social consciousness. There can be an uproar with a colleague about opposing political beliefs or even an unexpected exit in your life. This rough transit takes place in the 2nd house of finance, skill and career advancement and by some miracle, you will make it work or you. A gainful financial situation can catch you unaware, and promote you to a higher standing than usual. The undiscovered territory of 2021 is taking you somewhere completely new, spiritually, intellectually and globally. Friends appear larger than life, and the characters who turn up in your story will be comedic. There is something noticeably obscure to your friendship group over the next 12 months, and once this cycle is over, the difference in you, will be noticeable to just about everyone. On the 19th, the Aquarius Sun moves into Pisces, and the spiritual 12th house. You will seek solitude, rest and privacy from this date forward, and this will be intensified, as Pisces rules the 12th house of magic and the occult. Mercury's move direct on the 21st, gifts you an immediate connection to a stranger you meet around this date. Keep your eyes peeled, it will be well worth it. The Full Moon in Virgo arrives on the 27th, in your 6th house of health, routine and ‘odd jobs’. The corresponding themes mean there may be a change of title, profession or tier within business occurring. You will place more emphasis on health ailments, healing and family trauma. The 6th house shines a light on where you require support, and because Virgo naturally rules the 6th house, the place it is transiting, everything will feel a little more serious. This year is characterised by the energy of the old and the new, what is still useful from last year? Keep it, but push it into a more refined direction.

Dates to look out for; 6th, 12th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 27th.

Taurus: April 20 - May 20

Taurus, you are born to lead, not to follow. And, if it really matters to you, there is no way you will take ‘no’ for an answer in February. The month begins with Venus entering Aquarius on the 1st, and your 10th house of career, advancement, reputation. A new career or vocation is on the cards, and you are taking the professional route quite seriously. There is an offer coming in that you simply can’t refuse, but in order to transform and influence, you will have to give up your old ways concerning career strategy. By the end of 2021, you will have been promoted, offered a new position or accepted a more prestigious opportunity, with less work than you have on your plate now! It’s how Aquarius works, especially in super planets Jupiter and Saturn. Of course, there’s a few hiccups to get through first. Like Mercury retrograde in Aquarius in this house of career, until the 21st signalling delays, reversals and rescheduling until mid-March. Trust the process, by April you will see that new door opening and it will be a way in, or way out, depending on what you personally need. No matter what you do for ‘work’, you have something to contribute to the world, and the stars are trying to tell you this. Saturn in Aquarius answers the serious questions with big answers. It promises to solve every puzzle in your heart, no matter how heavy they may feel now. In the end, you’ll see, there is a magnificent picture to it all. The big news for you, is that both Mars and Uranus are in your sign, and this month, they seek to break you out of your comfort zone. The energy can appear fearful, scattered or plain shocking, mainly because Mars is aggression and Uranus is surprise. Put them together and that’s a whole lot of pressure for you! Because both planets share the same right ascension, it can feel as though everything that’s occurring is closely linked to something else. As if you’re unsure of where you begin, and the other ends.

The Aquarius New Moon on the 11th coincides with a sweet Venus-Jupiter conjunction, promising opportunities, heartfelt connection and emotional openness with just about anyone. Hold onto it while you can! You expect things to move quickly, or you may find that everything is occurring too fast - both situations require surrender. On the 17th, another VIP date occurs when Saturn and Uranus meet in a tense conjunction, the first of three within this year. Without question, this is one of the most challenging transits of the year - and it only happens once every 14 years. Awkward squares such as this one create a dynamic in which productive changes can occur, mainly because they push you to such a breaking point that you erupt with the desire for something, anything new. Limits to our personal freedoms will continue with this congregation in the night sky, and even with the spontaneous Uranus aspect, there are still further ‘Covid’ blocks we must barge through. On a personal level, as Uranus is in your sign until 2026, there will be a clash between independence and responsibility. The key will be to stay open minded, flexible and patient, don’t resist the long term, measured view. We can choose to view this moment as a reset for the environment and ourselves. When Mercury stations direct on the 21st, you’ll breathe a sigh of relief, mainly because typical Air energy does not bode well for your sign. On the 19th, the Sun moves into whimsical Pisces, helping you relax into optimism, faith and hope - draw on your talents, experience and heritage. Every gift and asset you have is invoked by the deep sea of Pisces. On the 27th, a Full Moon in Virgo colours the sky, as it merges with the creative 5th house of romance and joy, bringing peaceful fruition to partnership situations. You are deepening a bond, falling in love or recognising to adjust expectations. However it happens, in whichever way - embrace !!

Dates to look out for; 2nd, 12th, 17th, 21st, 27th.

Gemini: May 21 – June 20

Gemini, get ready to be counted for your individuality. When you stand up for yourself and let the freak flag fly, you give others permission to do the same. The channel which the stars will communicate through to you this month is pure gold, as the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus sit in Aquarius, your sister sign. Everything is an opportunity, and in 2021 you will be looking at a brand new part of the map, and wondering how and why things are coming together, so effortlessly. For the first time in 12 years, a whole new existence is possible for you, and by April, you will start to see the potential delivered. There are some serious answers for some serious questions, just as well then, that Venus moves into your 9th house on the 2nd. The 9th house rules education, travel, inspiration and the wide, wide world. A lot of luck comes from the 9th house, as it is seen in Astrology as one of the most auspicious houses, the place in which ‘god’ speaks with you. Just make sure you have a Plan A, B and C between now and mid-March. As this initial phase comes with a few weighty challenges, such as Mercury retrograde until the 21st. Nothing will run as you thought it would, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work perfectly. Just expect delays, reversals and people to abruptly change their mind. A New Moon in Aquarius, coincides with the heavenly Jupiter-Venus conjunction on the 11th, and again falls into your 9th house of adventure and wisdom. This lunation rewards infinite possibility, but you must believe it first. The 9th house so strongly activated can bring about an epiphany about a deep passion, a renewed desire to study or learn, perhaps go back to class. This transit may not just be linked to business, career or paid vocation, it could be in regard to lifestyle - how you choose to live and breath in this life.

The first 3 weeks of the month are for reflecting, deep thinking and merging with the spiritual world. The powerful activation 2021 brings, starts right now, in this moment. The visions you have of where you want to live, what you want to do, and where you wish to be in 5 years time is perfectly in vibration with the 9th house. You are discovering something huge here. On the 17th, the first of 3 Saturn square Uranus transits takes place. This is rather monumental for you, because even though Saturn and Uranus are in Aquarius and Taurus, respectively, the next transit will happen on June 14th, smack bang in the middle of Gemini season. This event where the planet of boundaries and restriction (Saturn) challenges the planet of rebellion, freedom and sudden change (Uranus) only occurs once every 14 years. Although this transit can be hard to swallow, it does bring progressive energy for change. It is further breaking down the old world structures that erupted in 2020. There is mutual reception throughout the month between the 9th and 12th houses, and you may hear a truth that is quite shocking to you. On the 21st, Mercury stations direct, and your senses begin to work together for the same agenda. From this date forward, you can prepare, research and step into what you’ve been pondering on. A few days before however, the Aquarius Sun leaves it’s base in turn for Pisces season to take over. Trust your intuition in the deep waters of the fish, so that you don’t flounder when the waves come crashing. On the 27th, a Full Moon in Virgo changes the tune, with a move into the 4th house of home and family, helping you consider a move to an unusual place with a new friend. Family matters take over in the last few days, and the emotionally charged energy comes from a relative you’d rather not deal with.

Dates to look out for; 11th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 25th.

Cancer: June 21 – July 22

Cancer, this month will feel intensely personal. Much of the focus in February occurs around the 8th house, which rules shared resources, income, talents and natural gifts. Freeing yourself from ingrained patterns, traumas and past hurt is a lot of work, but hey, someone’s gotta do it. You are trying to release old burdens, and while you do, unexpected people come out of the woodwork to show support. Independence is a key theme this month, but it will present itself in various vehicles, the one you will focus on most for now, is attempting to open your heart and share *more* in an intimate relationship. The month begins when Venus enters Aquarius on the 2nd, cementing itself into the 8th house. Followed by the New Moon in Aquarius, and the gorgeous Venus-Jupiter conjunction that same day, occurring on the 11th and again in your 8th house of connection, liberation, purification. For every heavy question, there will be an answer, for every serious obstacle, you will leap and find gold. The 8th house is lucrative, so what is given, paid back, lent or shared could now give you enormous scope, and offer a pathway which simply was not there before. Whatever you’re trying to get off the ground will involve commission, income or large sums of ‘shared’ money, therefore a current, past or potential partner is very much embroiled in this mix. Money seems to be your forte lately, so if you do make an investment, you’ll be happy to know it will do very well in a short amount of time. Uncomfortable feelings can stem from the 8th house, because the old ego attachments are dying - but it is all illusion! And the beauty of the process throughout 2021, and especially February. You may not recognise yourself, but the reactions you are having, although triggering are supremely transformational.

On the 17th, Uranus and Saturn make a tense square, the first of three aspects to come this year. This transit happens once every 14 years and reminds you that you can’t change the past, but you can flip the narrative and engage with a different, higher perspective - in this way, you are releasing. Find opportunity in restriction and focus on what is, rather than what isn’t. 2020 dealt you with some pretty extreme reality changes, and now you’re left with this auspicious transit that is an adjustment, yet a time to adapt to the new normal. On the 19th, the Sun moves into fellow water sign Pisces, and is met by Neptune here in your 9th house of adventure, wisdom and teaching. You have a psychological need to talk and share - this is a good time to engage with a therapist if you need. Powerful realisations come when the Sun is in Pisces, so let vulnerabilities out. If you are single, and looking for love, this month is interesting for you as both head and heart are lined up in a rare agreement. You will feel this especially when Mercury goes direct on the 21st, bringing a sense of completion. On a material level, when Mercury becomes visible, you have more chances to go abroad, reach a settlement or receive an inheritance. I would advise you not to do anything crazy with finances, as Mars and Uranus are mostly square this month (to your 8th house), creating plenty of risk. The 11th house has mutual reception with the 8th house, meaning these energies, however unstable, do wish to work together in this month. The 11th house is friends, social connections and networks - despite any stress, you will be able to work with groups of people to get a financial outcome that you deserve. The Virgo Full Moon on the 27th changes the pace as it shines a light in your 3rd house of communication and network. You will be more focused by the end of this month, it’s a process - but it’s well worth the fight.

Dates to look out for; 2nd, 11th, 12th, 18th, 23rd.

Leo: July 23 – August 22

Leo, you’ve got romance knocking on your door this month. One way or another, heart strings will be pulled and vulnerabilities will be shown. The month begins on the 2nd, when Venus enters Aquarius and merges with your 7th house of marriage. You are pushed into action by a person who triggers or inspires within you big emotions and it’s only fuelled further by the Aquarius New Moon on the 11th also in this house of partnerships. That same day, Venus and Jupiter align in connection in the same area of your chart, confirming this is as good as it gets when it comes to fated ‘forever’ love. Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury all sit in your 7th house, which is something so rare - these planets are planning new events for you in regards to your relationships. New exotic people, potential lovers or artistic collaborators are coming into your life, it may even be a soul mate/twin flame connection, it’s really that auspicious and important. Learn to say ‘yes' when partnerships appear, as these activations show you the external circumstances of your life, and what could be if you leap forward from the heart. The first part of the month in particular can be about endings, in a sense, showing you the dynamics that don’t work, despite your feelings. This is to make room for something FAR greater. After the 21st, when Mercury stations direct, all the losses make sense, as you comprehend that reality is much more meaningful now. The duet may be professional too, and a big new puzzle to solve and challenge to face will appear with this person, or through them. The emerging picture of what you need is shifting into gear, a way in or way out. Maybe even a way though, it’s a once in 12 year glimmering opportunity.

A revaluation of who you are when you’re committed in love, is something you’ve needed to witness for some time. You’ll come to realise from all this deep 7th house energy the tiny world you inhabited before this transit turned everything on its head. This momentum will carry you forward. Even when Saturn in Aquarius chooses to shake you, Jupiter will come in with sweeping solutions. Mercury is of course retrograde in your 7th house helping you reflect on past partnerships. Growth and development in these nostalgic areas will take you even higher when you realise, everything has its place and moment. Mercury will then move direct on the 21st, a great time to go ahead with contracts, professional or otherwise. Mars and Uranus in Taurus can bring stressful events or conflicts to mediate, but on a constructive level also provides the impetus to make a needed alteration. Deeper issues below the surface are penetrated on the 17th by the Uranus-Saturn square, which causes friction whichever way you look at it. This is the first of three squares taking shape over the next year, and will rupture dynamics - especially ones that are already in the process of clashing. However, since Mars and Jupiter have recently set off the volatility building between Saturn and Uranus, we are in a sense gaining what sorts of collective and personal disruptions are developing. On the 19th, it’s bye-bye to Aquarius, and hello to Pisces Season, who is joined by Neptune in your 8th house. The slow contractions of Pisces can drive a Leo mad, but in fact, is very much needed to counterbalance this month. Keep the longview when things get a little hazy, after all, Pisces rules illusion and magic - things may appear more grandiose than they really are. A Virgo Full Moon on the 27th erupts in the 2nd house of talents, income and financial abundance. This Moon can leave you dissatisfied with what you haven’t yet reached- that pinnacle of perfection you strive for is always hanging in your head. This Moon will require rapid response to an immediate concern, and you may have to pull back the spending.

Dates to look out for; 1st, 11th, 15th, 23rd, 27th.

Virgo: August 23 – September 22

Virgo, you’ve been seriously re-evaluating how you use your time. Now that your pastures are greener, you find exhausting yourself in business both boring and consuming. 2021 is vastly different from 2020, but you can’t help feel that the year is off to a very familiar start. Saturn and Jupiter have landed in a rare cycle of your chart, confirming that this year, more than any other, is a time to look at the whole picture; mind, body and soul. All three need to be working in unison in order for you to get anywhere helpful. Everything and everyone you take on, will have spectacular long term outcomes by December. Nothing is random in February, and the doors that open possibilities for healing and treatment are literally right in front of you. It all begins on the 2nd, when Venus enters Aquarius in your 6th house of medical, dental, lifestyle, health. You are in a major phase of rethinking your work situation, your current mindset and your own personal health matters. It can be as diverse as turning vegetarian, or freezing eggs for the right partner. Fortune is bestowed upon you when the New Moon in Aquarius (11th), also joins up to the 6th house giving extra support to wherever you feel shaky. This could mean letting go of a relationship with someone who doesn’t treat you well, or looking into a therapist for additional guidance, perhaps even seeking a course to do on self-awareness. The same day, a Venus-Jupiter conjunction brings positive vibrations to any uncertainties you may have about a friend, colleague or career path. This sweet transit can help you feel aligned to the universe in the most amazing way.

The big news of the month, and perhaps the year is the meeting of Uranus with Saturn in a tense square, not once, but three times throughout 2021. The first uncomfortable transit goes down on the 17th, and will represent a clash for you on a personal level. A power struggle ensues between the conservative and the progressive, your good and bad angels. Again, this 9th house is a main topic of conversation, so there is something to be learnt from philosophy, self worth and mental wellness. When the 9th (Mars & Uranus) and 6th houses (Venus & Mercury) come face to face, it means you must practice what you preach, no one wants to listen to a leader who hasn’t traversed the path before them. February is very much about giving your own emotional, mental and physical health the same attention that you freely give to others. On the 19th, Pisces season begins, polarising your life with a more empathic point of view. Both the Sun and Neptune in the sign of the fish can cause you to lose your head over the smallest things, which is natural because Pisces is Virgos opposite sign. Personal boundaries can tremble also, so be attentive to your word. Both Uranus and Mars are conjoined in your 9th house of wisdom, making it a great time to connect with people from different walks of life; through business it’s likely you meet someone rather beneficial. Your ruler Mercury stations direct on the 21st, stress levels will lower and plans will merge back together. Venus then enters Pisces on the 25th, and it’s move into your house of partnerships brings clarity into your love life. Unanswered questions have a chance to be explained, and you recalibrate after the retrograde and the mass Aquarius energy, which for you, can be really awkward. A Full Moon in your sign occurs on the 27th, and an emotional outburst is likely. It’s possible you’re looking to confess to certain feelings, or maybe someone will call you out of the blue and confess theirs. Manifest the love you deserve.

Dates to look out for; 2nd, 12th, 22nd, 25th, 27th.

Libra: September 23 – October 22

Libra, you are present through every moment of February because you love what it has to offer you. Romance is in the air, even if right now that seems like the furthest thing from your mind, or perhaps you just can’t envision how the prospects will change around you, but they will. The month begins on the 2nd when Venus enters Aquarius, and your 5th house of playful pleasure and intimate moments. This transit is going to help you see with more clarity why you love those you do, and how you could do better in terms of thrashing out those old negative patterns that keep you stagnated. It may be time to finally ignore that toxic ex, even with the Mercurial pull of the retrograde keeping you nostalgic for past times. The Aquarius New Moon on the 11th is sweet and reassuring, especially as it also sits in the 5th house of fertility, along with a Venus-Jupiter conjunction on the same day. This is a fortunate day, where new love, new thoughts and new possibilities are all within reach in terms of your story. The most important event of the month, and perhaps the year is the tense and awkward square between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius, this transit will occur three times this year. The date to look out for is the 17th, where a clash between your own progressive thinking and the conservative stance of society butt heads, causing an uproar either in business or family dynamics. There is tension between responsibility and independence, and the blocks that appear seem rather personal. There can be productive energy that spurts from this spontaneous transit too however, and it may help break down further barriers that you had erected over the course of 2019/2020. Remember, Uranus is rebellion and utter freedom, Saturn is boundaries and firm rules; whichever way you play it, it will be uncomfortable.

For you, the 8th house of sex and transformation and the 5th house of pleasure are deeply entwined this month, reminding you that in order to experience joy, one must first let go of the troubles and surrender. Each way you spin it, February is about a sexual relationship that could end in pregnancy or co-parenting, if you already have children or grandchildren, it’s about them too. Mercury stations direct on the 21st, but until then, or mid-March, there are delays, reversals and a few twists to come. Pisces Sun season takes over on the 19th, illustrating more tenderness and warmth through your daily encounters. The world will seem full of bigger and better possibilities, but remember that Neptune, the planet of illusion, sits close by, involving itself in every little moment that feels too good to be true. On the 25th, your ruler Venus also leaves Aquarius and enters whimsical Pisces. This transit will take place in your 6th house of health and routine, prioritising balance and inner work in order to be a decent human being. The momentum can be stressful, as everything seems to be happening toward the end of the month for you. Express yourself, for although the road is long and winding, it ultimately leads to a happier outcome. On the 27th, we end the month with a Virgo Full Moon, the polar opposite to the Pisces Sun, creating emotional tidal waves as the intensity deepens and catalyses the explosive vitality of Mars and Uranus in Taurus. Venus imposes this union, and we experience under Virgo a strict poetic richness and intuitive knowing that spills through our entire body. There is simply something sublime about the Moon in virgo ripening under the melancholy waters of Pisces. Let your experiences peace together tangible forms of shared understanding, after all, that’s what the stars want from you.

Dates to look out for; 3rd, 7th, 11th, 17th, 21st, 27th.

Scorpio: October 23 – November 21

Scorpio, it’s OK to be nervous about the complications that lay ahead, just don’t let them overwhelm you from doing what you must. Your domestic life is filled with so much energy in February, partly because Venus enters Aquarius on the 2nd in your 4th house of home, household, lifestyle and family issues. The biggest solutions and breakthroughs are coming - even if they rock back and forth until March 13th, in the long term, you stand firm in gaining more than you could ever lose. Suddenly the idea of settling down, nesting and enjoying quiet time with that one special person doesn’t seem so bad. But, this transit really isn’t about anyone else, you see. It’s more about you, and how even when single or partnered, self sabotage creeps back into the picture, at times ripping to shreds all the progress you’ve made. By nature, you don’t trust easily, and often your biggest enemy when it comes to love, is you yourself. Mercury turned retrograde in the sign of Aquarius on the 30th of Jan in said 4th house, where it will remain in hibernation until the 21st of this month. A misunderstanding between you and someone needs sorting, and if it’s directly related to a family member, things can get frustrating before they get better. Mainly because family knows how to push those sensitive buttons the most, and in their eyes, you remain vulnerable. A new path will emerge by the 11th, when the New Moon in Aquarius is joined by a Venus-Jupiter conjunction, that brings sweet resolution to an existing living situation. If you buy or sell real estate, you are likely to do well in this endeavour now. Jupiter encourages exploration and to open up in terms of lifestyle and family, every challenge will be met with a miracle, even if it takes a month or two.

Your roots and background will benefit you greatly in the next few weeks, as it’s evident this cycle is about connecting to the past in order to live for the future. The most talked about event of the month is the tense meeting between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius in your 7th house of partnerships. These planets will square off three times this year, and the first occurs on the 17th, representing a time of massive societal shift. This exact transit has not happened since 1977, so pressures to the economy, government and status quo are likely. There can be conflict or resistance on your own behalf of the newfound values and standpoints people are expressing, it’s enough to drive you up the wall. As noted above, these emotions may have you feeling ready for something more serious in your life, but it doesn’t have to be solely romantic, it could be in terms of taking a professional relationship to the next level of trust. Mars, also in Taurus, makes the next 6 weeks about former, current or potential partners. It will help greatly to turn down the emotions, hysterics and drama and stick to placid, calm discussions. Of course, you’ve already survived Mars in the 4th house of family, and 5th house of fertility, so by now - this should all be second nature to you by now. Pisces season begins on the 19th in your 5th house, and you can breathe a sigh of relief as you automatically feel calmer in the dark, stormy water of the fish. With Neptune here too, it’s likely you’ll take a moment to regulate your emotions and communicate with ease and grace. Venus also leaves Aquarius on the 25th to join Pisces, helping you let your iron guard down, just a tad, just enough for someone to see who you really, truly are. The month ends with a Virgo Full Moon on the 27th, in your 11th house of social networking. A friendship may sour quickly, but intuition tells me you knew this was coming. A loss is only a loss if this person was true to you.

Dates to look out for; 2nd, 4th, 12th, 22nd, 25th, 27th.

Sagittarius: November 21 - December 21

Sagittarius, you are tempted to open up and turn on the charm. This bodes well for Venus entering Aquarius on the 2nd, and moving into your 3rd house of judgement/communication. Feelings are here to guide you, don’t dismiss them. The biggest most blessed solutions will come now, although it may take some back and forth until March 13th, to stand in the ‘reality’ of it all. The 3rd house is further activated by Jupiter and Saturn, and then by the Aquarius New Moon on the 11th. At times, the 3rd house mistakes vulnerability for weakness, and you yourself do this frequently, in turn stagnating your own progress. Talking about emotions and feelings breeds intimacy and strengthens bonds. This transit, joined by the brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction on the same day represents new beginnings, especially in terms of expressing yourself, forgiving others and moving on. Being such a fiery individual in all this Aquarius weather can prove difficult, but the only way to advance in a relationship is to speak frankly, openly and with grace. There is a lucrative opportunity related to sales, marketing, advertising or media - if you’re willing to reframe your thoughts on what it takes to get the ball rolling. Jupiter is progressive and liberal, it remains unchangeable even in adverse circumstances. Jupiter is your ruler, and therefore, the dates around the 12th-14th are super sparkly for you. On the 17th, innovative Uranus in Taurus makes a very uncomfortable square to Saturn. This is the first of three times these planets clash this year, on a personal level this transit will represent a very strong struggle between traditionalism and ‘new age’ thinking. Saturn is highly functional in Aquarius, but it’s very evident that there will be issues to do with economy, stocks, trades and social rights. To make matters more fated, this transit only occurs once every 14 years - so whatever political or societal subject you decide to embark on, make sure you know what you’re talking about!

Pluto in Capricorn raises questions about inner self control, willpower and the empowerment you receive through finance, property and home life. At this time, the South Node in your sign is passing through your 1st house, which rules your face, identity, image and outer performance - but the 1st house is fickle, because it’s not really about you, well, not the real you. It’s more about how people see you, perceive you - and how well you play into that image. Throughout February, there are moments of selling and presenting yourself, to seem like the ideal package, to the outside world, but my one big question is why?! The Sun moves into Pisces on the 19th, clearing the decks for some solitude. You are keen to dream away, meditate or just go into hibernation, for such a short month, many distractions appear and pull you in different directions. The overall theme in February is clarity, compatibility and communication. Short journeys introduce you to new people, concepts and ideas which are foreign to your way of thinking. You may feel vastly inexperienced compared to those who start showing up in your reality, but it doesn’t matter. Jupiter wants you to spin the axis as much as possible. On the 21st, Mercury stations direct, levelling up your love life in the process. Venus joins the Pisces party on the 25th, lighting up your 4th house of home, children and nationality. Something nostalgic is tugging at your heart and it can feel impossible to solve. Perhaps the person you miss is no longer here, or it may be there is some apologising that needs to be done from your end. Whatever it is, make sure you voice your grievances, people can’t read your mind! Lastly, the Virgo Full Moon lights up the night sky on the 27th, bathing you in love and idealism. If all the aspects of this lunation come together at the right time, you may well find a new love or even something more serious, like a twin flame connection. The possibilities are endless.

Dates to look out for; 1st, 11th, 16th, 26th, 27th.

Capricorn: December 22 – January 19

Capricorn, as you break away from certain self imposed restrictions, you begin to see anything is within reach. Throughout February there is huge emphasis on your finances, mainly because of the countless planets (Saturn, Venus, Jupiter and Mercury) in the 2nd house of income, spending and saving. Although you may be second guessing yourself in terms of what you’re banking and what you’re spending, there is a much larger purpose at play here. With Pluto in your sign, progress is slow but unavoidable. 2018/2019 were rough in terms of routine and ritual, and you may have lost money in order to gain it back again. With both Saturn and Jupiter in your house of finance all 2021, it’s evident that this year possessions are more important than ever. Your old ways of earning, saving or managing money will be left far behind in this cycle, as more intriguing possibilities open up. By the end of 2021, Jupiter will have gifted you a dozen options to explore. From the 2nd, this transit is in motion, helping you along with a professional project, awkward client or creative endeavour. The Aquarius New Moon on the 11th is highlighted, partly because of it’s brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction, also in the 2nd house, and mostly because you have an ideal time to get the ball rolling after all this reflection. A fresh start in a relationship revolving around money is happening around this date, and it looks extremely promising. It can manifest in buying a place with a partner, investing in a car together, or finally taking time off for that romantic holiday. Go where you are taken, life will naturally maximise whatever it is your heart decides on. Mars and Uranus join in Taurus and your 5th house of creativity and romance, strengthening everything to do with fertility, children and the potential ‘parent to be’.

The difficult configurations of 2020 are well and truly behind you, even with the back and forth the Mercury retrograde brings this time round. There is a long and winding road to a happier outcome, so if a story is stuck or moving backwards, let everything hang in the balance until March 13th. By this stage, retrograde will be well and truly over, and you will be able to proceed or hear the good financial news you’ve been waiting on. To your excitement, technology and communications will now return to normal and you get the green light to restart a project close to your heart. Before all of this however, there is one very important date I need to talk about. On the 17th, a huge astrological event occurs, when Uranus and Saturn clash in an unfortunate square aspect. This is the first of three transits that have not occurred for 14 years! It will affect you on a personal level, as your 5th house of intimacy and 2nd house of money come face to face in a rather, ugly battle. Work will play a crucial role in this time, because for you, pleasure is derived often from business. It may just happen that the 5th house then indicates a quarrel with a business partner instead of a romantic one. Saturn your ruler is known for its harsh restrictive rules and regulation, but Uranus is freedom loving and truth seeking, what you hear now may not be to your liking, but it will come out because it’s the honest truth. Does your work bring you joy? This will be an underlined question from the gods, and you’ve got to answer righteously. On the 19th, Pisces season takes over, and you tap into your softer side. There is poetic expression in the sign of the fish, and it’s a swell time to just sit back and surrender to the deep seas of emotion. On the 25th, Venus follows suit and joins Pisces in your influential 3rd house. If you play your cards right, there is something special here to be shown, you just have to know where to look - or who to look for. Lastly, the 27th, a Virgo Full Moon appears in your 9th house of wisdom and higher knowing. The combined earthiness of Virgo in harmonious balance with the Sun and Neptune, makes for potential magic pursuits. Pisces embodies the projections, Virgo surrenders to the vision, now it’s your turn!

Dates to look out for; 1st, 4th, 11th, 17th, 25th, 27th.

Aquarius: January 20 – February 18

Aquarius, for every tough question, there is a thoughtful answer. 2021 will clearly have a strong focus on liberal values, shown by the fact that Jupiter and Saturn are both in Aquarius. You are by nature, progressive, humanitarian, focused on equality, brotherhood, sisterhood, and anything that involves newness and open-mindedness. In February, you are seriously the cosmic star, with half the night sky in your sign! It begins with Venus on the 2nd, moving into your 1st house of image, reputation and self awareness. The abundance around you is magnified, as confidence grows, even with Mercury retrograding until the 21st, also in your personal 1st house. Saturn conjuncts Venus this week, refreshing everything to do with your appearance - this cycle, although brilliant, can be a bit of a test. Something that prods and pokes at you to structure your life with more stability and cohesion. The New Moon in your sign on the 11th, aligns with Jupiter and Venus, and adds more power to your already exceptional reality, and if there was ever a time you felt in your ‘element’, then I think this is it! For the next 12 months, you will be able to do more with your name, face and reputation than ever before. This is really once in a decade kind of opportunity, so focus on the surface presentation. You are in truth selling yourself - and Jupiter will give you an audience reaching far wider than your wildest dreams.

The most significant event of the month, and perhaps the year, is the clashing of your ruler Uranus, which is now in reliable Taurus, and Saturn (which is in your sign) occurring on the 17th, and then repeating two more times throughout the year. This tense and uncomfortable square will affect everyone in different ways, and on a global scale it will shift progressive and traditional thinking to two separate corners. It is up to us, to choose what side we want to be on. As your ruling planet and sign is directly involved in this awkward clash, you will be particularly affected. This transit can feel scary or overwhelming, because risk is involved as well as vulnerability. New boundaries can be set as a result, so put yourself at the centre of your world and work around that. Mercury is retrograde in your sign until the 21st, so it’s best not to sign anything new or make a promise to a partner or friend. You may be strongly identifying with you humanitarian qualities now, trying to help someone out of a tough spot. On a personal level, this square, which feels more like a collision, lights up your 4th house of belonging and family, and your 1st house of self and inner knowing. You will be faced with some tough questions, and they may revolve around the ‘chosen’ family. Sometimes keeping the peace is tough, especially if you’ve bit your tongue too many times before. Consider talking with a professional, as themes such as these are continuing all of 2021 - and you will be followed by whatever you leave unfinished. The Pisces Sun moves into your 2nd house along with Neptune on the 19th. This energy can be magnetic - and you are injecting intention into finances and drawing into your sphere with ease more work opportunities. Your attention will turn to the economy now, and it may be a fight to survive, but you’ve got this! Venus then leaves your sign on the 25th, when it moves into Pisces and immediately lowers our stress levels. A Virgo Full Moon lights up the sky on the 27th in your 8th house of sex and death, so anything that was kept hidden over the course of 2020 is now out in the open. Virgo brings an earthiness that encourages you to open up to the miracles that occur when you allow people in. As always, Birthday month is about reinvention, and you are the phoenix that rises from the ashes throughout 2021.

Dates to look out for; 1st, 12th, 15th, 19th, 25th, 27th.

Pisces: February 19 – March 20

Pisces, the premonitions you get throughout February are both exciting and overwhelming. Everything feels as though it’s fated, or it may just be that you get a premonition before the event actually occurs. That’s how wacky this month may feel, as if the unconscious thoughts people are having are being displayed for you to decipher all on your own. It begins with Venus entering your 12th house on the 2nd, in the sign of Aquarius. Regardless of where it’s positioned, you are at home, as Pisces naturally rules over the esoteric 12th house and knows all of it’s secrets as if it’s their own. Red flags can come up now in terms of intimate relationships, or maybe you’re just seeing someone for who they are. A snake in the grass is evident from a mile away, and you learn how to avoid these things before you’re in too deep. Consider it a lucky power. By the time the New Moon in Aquarius rolls around on the 11th, joined by the sweet and brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction, you’re ready to resolve and approach from a much calmer, quieter place. You will be able to breathe and internally know why it is you’re meant to take this pause. Mercury retrograde furthers the spiritual realm by travelling in retrograde motion through this same house until the 21st. Dreams can be prophetic, and your intuition feels like it’s from another dimension. Everything you can think of occurs, so be careful what you choose to imagine. There is a major psychological breakthrough connected to the 12th house, and it is said, the angels converse through this realm too. Memories from the past can leave you nostalgic, as Mercury brings it all back. Something inside of you may be haunting, but to leap forward you must surrender and release.

The most important date of the month is the 17th, when Saturn and Uranus square off in a very uncomfortable event. Uranus is progressive, even when it’s in the cosy sign of Taurus, Saturn is restrictive, even in the liberal sign of Aquarius, whichever way you play it - there’s no way to win. These planets meet three times this year, and what goes down now, will come back around in June and December. Globally themes turn to politics, societal reform and conservative ideology - none of this really fits your path anyway, so you will feel ousted and alone. Personally, this transit shakes up your 3rd house of communication, giving you a hard time when connecting with someone of authority. You are making great strides in understanding your patterning, past trauma and forward healing but it’s a long and winding road. You will undoubtedly mess up again, just like everyone else. But, emotional needs run deep here, and the need for true connection with someone you care for is paramount. Can they meet you halfway? Can they ever get on your level? These are the types of awkward questions that will come up to plague you in the middle of the night as you try to sleep. Make sure to set clear boundaries, so that both you and your loved ones can respect each other's need for freedom. The Sun then meets Neptune in your sign and it’s officially birthday season!! The 19th awakens in you pure love and joy - and whatever the outcome you’re sure to be excited and unattached. Relationship turning points are likely and you can walk in either direction, for sure, this birthday season evokes a ‘moral’ fork in the road. Only you will know what the outcome will be, and I hope for you, it is in the direction of light and growth. Venus leaves Aquarius for your sign on the 25th, and moves into your 1st house of self, image and influence. You feel something akin to stepping into yourself, like a rebirth of who you were always meant to be. On the 27th, a Full Moon in Virgo lands in your partnership sector. Virgo opposes Pisces on the Astrological wheel, so it’s evident you’ll be feeling some type of way. Under the sway of Virgo earthiness, emotional reception, and the intuitive knowing of feelings within the body are highly likely. The overflowing Piscean influence on the surrounding lunation makes it easier than normal to pursue illusionary pursuits.

Dates to look out for; 1st, 5th, 7th, 11th, 17th, 20th, 27th.
